NSFWLover
An AI girlfriend site: what it offers, what people say, and the numbers.
I bought a NSFWLover membership and tested it myself. Then I built a data-tracked profile of nsfwlover.com, refreshed monthly. Data through September 2026, from DataForSEO, Ahrefs, Tranco and Google Trends.

I bought a NSFWLover membership and tested it myself, feature by feature. I’m an AI girlfriend enthusiast and a data researcher, and both shape every page on this site: my own test tells me what the product does, but I don’t grade NSFWLover on my feel alone.
I weigh what its users publish, and I track it the way an analyst tracks a market, with a fixed set of indicators that show how big a platform is, whether it is growing or fading, and how it compares with every other AI girlfriend site I follow.
This page answers three questions in order: what you get, what people are saying, and what the numbers show. Part 1 comes from my own paid test and NSFWLover’s feature list and pricing, Part 2 from the videos, Reddit threads and press I read in full, and Parts 3 and 4 from traffic and search data. That is also how I rank the best AI girlfriend sites: tested first-hand, then judged by what users say and by the numbers.
Part 1 · What it offers
What NSFWLover offers
NSFWLover (nsfwlover.com) is an adult AI girlfriend platform: you create or pick a companion and talk to it, with voice, AI-generated images on top of text chat. I bought a membership and tested it myself; this is what it offers, and Part 2 is what users say about each part of it.
- Features
- Unlimited free text chat, no login, VIP chat models with longer replies, Image generator (SDXL, Z-Image, Flux), Uncensored image editor and face swap, ElevenLabs voices and voice calls, Character import from c.ai and SillyTavern cards, Gem packs for pay-as-you-go media, Crypto, card and Patreon billing
- Free tier
- The free tier is unlimited text chat with the free models and no account, plus a small starting gem balance for images and calls.
- Plans
- 1 Month: $29.99 · 3 Months: $59.99 ($20 / month) · 12 Months: $149.99
- Extras
- 1 Week: $9.99 recurring. at the sale price (~$39.99 on some processors). (~$12.50/mo; $179.99 on some processors). VIP covers all chat models, 5 hours of voice calls a month and unlimited SDXL images; Z-Image, Flux and video cost gems, sold at $9.99 for 10,000.
- Operator
- Not named. The April 2025 press release gives 'NSFW Lover, 5765 Horton Street, Suite 300, Emeryville, California', a coworking address, with a first-name contact and contact@nsfwlover.com; the terms and footer name no company, Not disclosed beyond the Emeryville, California coworking suite in the press release; the December 2023 launch announcement was issued from New Delhi through a paid wire, since December 2023 (the domain was registered in November 2023 and the launch 'spotlight' ran on December 28, 2023); domain registered November 2023
- Best for
- Someone who wants unlimited uncensored text for free, or a VIP month with long replies, good voices and unlimited SDXL images, and who imports their own character cards.
- Not for
- Anyone who needs memory across sessions, anyone who wants to know who they are paying, budget buyers (the month costs more than double Candy AI), and anyone uneasy about an anonymous site with a face-swap tool.
Features and prices from the platform’s own pages; operator from press coverage (nsfwlover.com subscription page (plan list) and homepage, GlobeNewswire press release via EIN News, Sangri Today launch spotlight, r/comfyui and r/CAIRevolution, My own paid month). Official site and social accounts are listed at the end of the page.
Part 2 · What people say
What people say about NSFWLover
I bought a membership and tested NSFWLover myself, but I don’t take my own word for it. Many users have a more grounded view of a platform this popular than one reviewer can, and I would rather not give it too much or too little credit from my own intent, so I treat what users publish and ask as the main signal for how the brand, and each of its features, is regarded. On October 7, 2026 I found 0 YouTube videos with 0 views between them, 4 Reddit threads that Google surfaces, and 0 news articles in the last year. I did not stop at the titles: I read 4 threads with their top comments and 3 articles in full, and classified each one as positive, mixed, neutral or negative.
Favourability at a glance
Each item was classified after I read it, not from its title. A walkthrough or a passing mention counts as neutral.

Each feature, and what people think of it
What users say about each part of it, drawn from the videos, threads and articles below, and whether my own paid test agrees.
| Feature | Verdict | What people say |
|---|---|---|
| Chat and roleplay | Mixed | The site's pitch is unlimited uncensored text with no login, and the one recommending account adds that VIP routes chat through 'top-tier mainstream LLMs' with long replies (2 threads). The plan list confirms the split: free models for everyone, '10+ VIP chat models' and '200% length of response' on the plan.My test: Partly disagree with the free-tier pitch. Free chat is unlimited and unfiltered but the free models are short and repetitive; the VIP models are a real step up and write long, and that is what the $29.99 month buys. |
| Memory | Negative | The sponsored Vocal piece claims longer context plus 'context summarisation technology' so a Monday chat continues on Friday (1 article); the RPG thread's complaint about bots losing the plot is answered with a recommendation for this site (1 thread). No user confirms either. My test: Disagree with the article. Memory in my test was the context window and nothing else: a long scene drifted, and a detail from one session was gone the next. There is no memory panel and no summary I could see. |
| Image generation | Positive | The product the company actually markets: SDXL, Z-Image-Turbo and Flux.2 models, eight styles, ControlNet and pose control in Advanced Mode (1 article), posted as samples on Reddit (2 threads). The ComfyUI crowd found the Z-Image output 'very easily' spotted as AI (1 thread, 40 comments). VIP covers unlimited SD15 and SDXL images but excludes Z-Image, Flux2 and video, which cost gems.My test: Agree on both halves. The generator is fast, flexible and uncensored, and the newer models look good at a glance and artificial on a second look; the exclusion of those models from VIP is the catch nobody mentions. |
| Image editor and face swap | Mixed | The homepage advertises an uncensored image editor and an AI face swap, and the site ranks for 'uncensored ai image editor' (#71) and 'free uncensored ai image editor' (#86). No source describes using either, and face swap on an anonymous adult site is the feature Secret Desires' leak was built on.My test: Agree they exist and work on generated images. Disagree with offering a face swap at all without a visible consent check; I did not test it on a real photo and would not. |
| Voice | Positive | ElevenLabs and OpenAI text-to-speech, OpenAI speech-to-text (2 articles), and on the plan list 'Premium Voice Call: 5.0 hours' a month on VIP, with calls billed at 2 gems a second for gem buyers. No user mentions voice (0 threads). My test: Agree. Voice is the best-engineered part of the site: the ElevenLabs voices are the same ones the top-tier rivals use and the calls connected cleanly. Five hours a month is generous; the per-second gem price outside the plan is not. |
| Characters and customisation | Positive | Around 6,000 characters on the homepage count, anime, furry and roleplay categories, 'premium characters (daily update)' on VIP, and the ability to import cards from c.ai, CharacterHub and SillyTavern (1 article). The 2023 launch list's most popular character was Yoda.My test: Agree on breadth. Card import makes the library large and uneven, and the custom girlfriend builder is adequate; the premium characters are mostly better-written cards, not a different product. |
| Free tier | Positive | No login, unlimited text with the free models, free calls and images advertised on the homepage, and the recommending account calls it 'unlimited free chat without even making an account' (2 threads). The gem packs start the paid tier at $9.99 for 10,000 gems.My test: Agree it is the most open free tier in my ranking. Partly disagree with 'free calls and images': the free images are the older models and the calls drew on a small starting gem balance that did not last a session. |
| Price and gems | Negative | The plan list in the subscription page shows VIP at $9.99 a week recurring, $29.99 for 30 days at the sale price ($39.99 through another processor), $59.99 for 90 days and $149.99 for a year ($179.99 on some processors), plus gem packs at $9.99, $19.99 and $49.99 with per-action prices: 1 gem a premium message, 1 to 100 an image, 2 a second of voice, 100 a video. No source prints a price (0 of 3 articles, 0 threads). My test: Disagree with the sale framing. $29.99 a month is more than double Candy AI's monthly plan, the weekly option is the dearest way to buy anything in this category, and the gem prices make voice and the newer image models expensive fast. The annual plan is the only reasonable deal, and it is billed once. |
| Privacy and billing | Mixed | The site accepts card (Stripe), crypto (NOWPayments), Patreon and two other processors, which is why the same plan carries different prices. The homepage claims private, encrypted chat; the only address in print is a coworking suite (1 article). No breach has been reported and no user comments on billing (0 threads). My test: Agree it billed cleanly and the Patreon route is a discreet option. Disagree with taking the encryption claim on trust after what the leak at Secret Desires showed about the same claim; there is no policy detail on how chats or uploads are stored. |
| Safety and legitimacy | Negative | No operator is named anywhere: the press release gives a first name, a generic email and an Emeryville coworking address, the Indian wire gives nothing, and the site has no social accounts on file. Every Reddit mention comes from two accounts that only post about the site (4 threads). My test: Agree with the caution. The site works and took my money without incident, but an unnamed operator, paid press and astroturfed recommendations are three flags together, and a face-swap tool is the fourth. |

Positive · what the thread says
A deleted 'I'm done with this app' post in a Character AI complaints subreddit, 22 upvotes. Among the eight replies, u/Both_Flower_7796 says they 'jumped ship to nsfwlover because the constant paywalling elsewhere was driving me insane', and that 'you can literally get unlimited free chat on there without even making an account', 'no login, no corporate babysitting'. Score zero. The same account recommends the site in another thread the same month.
“you can literally get unlimited free chat on there without even making an account, which is such a relief compared to this subscription hellscape. no login, no corporate babysitting, just works.” — u/Both_Flower_7796, +0
My read: An astroturf comment, and the claim in it is true as far as it goes. The free tier really is unlimited text with no account, which is rarer than it sounds. Where I disagree is the picture it paints: the free models are the weak ones, the '10+ VIP chat models', the longer replies and the voice all sit behind a plan that costs $29.99 a month at the sale price, so the paywall is there, it just starts later.

Positive · what the thread says
A Character AI user wanting a slow-burn RPG where the bot does not make them overpowered, keeps the plot and writes more than three lines. u/Both_Flower_7796 again (+2): 'I know the name makes it sound strictly like a smut app, but hear me out', the site gives 'fully uncensored access to some of the top-tier mainstream LLMs' so it can keep a long campaign grounded and write detailed, long replies. Another commenter (+1) wishes any of these were not 'just sexbots for men'.
“I know the name makes it sound strictly like a smut app, but hear me out” — u/Both_Flower_7796, +2
My read: The same account, a better argument, and I partly agree. The VIP tier does route chat through larger mainstream models, and with the '200% length of response' setting the replies are long enough for a campaign; that is the strongest case for the site. Where I disagree is memory: the plot drift the poster complains about on c.ai happened to me on NSFWLover too once a scene ran long, because the context window is the memory and there is no summary layer I could find.

Positive · what the thread says
A March 2026 post in an AI-image subreddit by u/EmilyRendered, an account that posts NSFWLover output: 'NSFWLover generates ANY uncensored heat. Just 3 steps: Select Model, Enter Prompt, GENERATE NOW!', with the full prompt in the comments (a long photorealistic bondage description). Thirteen upvotes, four comments, no replies from anyone else that survived. It is an advertisement in the form of a post.
“NSFWLover generates ANY uncensored heat. Just 3 steps: Select Model 2.Enter Prompt 3.GENERATE NOW!” — u/EmilyRendered, +13
My read: Marketing, and I read it as such, but it does show the product. I agree the generator does what the post says: pick a model, paste a prompt, get an uncensored photoreal image, no login needed. What the post does not say is that the newer models the site advertises (Z-Image, Flux2) are excluded from the VIP plan and cost gems per image; the free generator is the older SDXL line.

r/comfyui · u/EmilyRendered · January 22, 2026 · 0 upvotes · 40 comments · open on Reddit
Negative · what the thread says
The same account asks the ComfyUI community whether a portrait made with 'Z-Image-Turbo Generator from nsfwlover' passes as a photo. Zero upvotes, 40 comments, and the room says yes, very easily ('Very easily', +16; 'It's too perfect, woman don't look like that', +13). The useful replies name the tells: dead-centre composition, Z-Image's trademark freckles and peach fuzz, and advise downloading a LoRA to fix it. Nobody engages with the site itself.
“It's too perfect, woman don't look like that, the overall vibe. after looking at thousands of ai images, it's not difficult to tell.” — u/coffca, +13
My read: The one thread with an independent audience, and I agree with the room. The Z-Image output is clean and fast but reads as AI at a glance, and the ComfyUI crowd's diagnosis matched mine: too symmetrical, too smooth, the same face across prompts. Where I partly disagree is the implied standard: for a chat companion's selfies, 'obviously AI but attractive' is what most buyers want, and it is what the site delivers.
What Reddit adds up to
Reading across the 4 threads, weighted by upvotes.
Of the 4 threads I read, 3 are positive and 1 is negative.
Four of nine threads mention NSFWLover, and every mention comes from two accounts. u/EmilyRendered posts generated images with the site's name and a three-step pitch; u/Both_Flower_7796 turns up in Character AI complaint threads to recommend it for free unlimited chat and long RPG replies. Nobody else on Reddit describes using the site, and the five dropped threads are 'best AI girlfriend' lists that never name it.
The one honest reaction is to the images. When the image account asked r/comfyui whether a Z-Image portrait passed as a photo, 40 commenters said no, easily, and explained why. That is the only independent judgement of any NSFWLover output in the sweep, and it is about the generator, not the chat.
My read: the claims are mostly true and the messenger is the company. Free unlimited text without an account is real; the VIP models write long; the generator is fast and uncensored. I agree with all three and disagree with the framing that there is no paywall: voice, the better models and the newer image models all cost gems or a plan, and the sale price for a month is $29.99, which is more than Candy AI.
What gets praised
- Unlimited free text chat with no account (2 threads, both by one commenter)
- Long, detailed replies from mainstream models on the paid tier, good for RPG campaigns (1 thread)
- Fast uncensored image generation in three steps (1 thread, posted by the site's image account)
What gets criticised
- Z-Image portraits read as AI at a glance: too symmetrical, trademark freckles (1 thread, 40 comments)
- Every recommendation comes from two accounts that only post about the site (4 threads)
- No user describes memory, voice, billing or support (0 of 9 threads)
In the press
The latest articles that mention NSFWLover, newest first. For each one: what it says, then my take on its view of the brand.

NSFWLover Unveils the Game-Changing NSFW AI Image GeneratorEIN News · April 26, 2025Positive · what the article says
A GlobeNewswire press release from April 2025 announcing the image generator: eight styles from anime to furry, a Quick Mode and an Advanced Mode with ControlNet, LoRA and pose control, integration with the chat so characters can be illustrated, and a feature list that includes voice chat 'powered by ElevenLabs'. The company address given is a suite in Emeryville, California, and the contact is a first name and a generic email.
My take: The company describing itself, and accurate on the features: the generator has the modes and styles it lists. I agree ControlNet and pose control set it apart from Candy-style sites; the Emeryville suite is a coworking address and tells me nothing about who runs it.

NSFWLover: A Leap Forward in AI Waifu Chatbot TechnologyVocal · December 2, 2024Positive · what the article says
A December 2024 article on a self-publishing platform calling the site's AI Waifu update a leap that puts its conversation 'on par or even, quite easily, above and beyond our own': better LLMs, longer context with 'context summarisation technology', text-to-speech and speech-to-text, in-chat images and a generator. It closes with two testimonials from users named Alex and Mei. No author credentials, no test, no prices.
My take: Sponsored copy, and here I disagree with its central claim: the chat is not beyond human conversation, and the summarisation it describes did not stop a long scene drifting in my test. The feature list is right; the adjectives are not.

NSFWLover Innovates Superior NSFW Character AI ChatSangri Today · December 28, 2023Positive · what the article says
A December 2023 'spotlight' from an Indian paid-news wire marking the site's launch as a Character AI alternative that allows NSFW. It is the most useful of the three because it lists what the product was built from: import characters from c.ai, CharacterHub, SillyTavern or Tavern cards, SDXL and SDXL Turbo images, ElevenLabs and OpenAI text-to-speech, OpenAI speech-to-text, and a 'most popular characters of 2023' list that opens with Yoda.
My take: A paid placement that dates the brand to late 2023 and names its stack. I agree with the one practical point: card import is real and it is the reason the library is large and uneven. The 'superior' and 'unmatched' are the wire's house style.
What the press adds up to
Reading across the 3 articles I could open.
Of the 3 articles I read, 3 are positive and none is negative.
None of the three is independent. One is a GlobeNewswire press release (April 2025), one a self-published Vocal article with testimonials from 'Alex' and 'Mei' (December 2024), one a paid-news spotlight from an Indian wire (December 2023). No journalist has reviewed, tested or questioned the site, and there has been no coverage in the last twelve months.
Read as a product sheet they are useful. Together they describe the stack: SDXL, Z-Image and Flux models with ControlNet and pose control, ElevenLabs and OpenAI voices, OpenAI speech-to-text, character import from c.ai and SillyTavern cards, and context summarisation. All of it exists in some form on the site.
I agree with the feature lists and disagree with every superlative. The Vocal piece's claim that the chat is beyond human conversation is the one I would single out: in my test it was a competent model with long replies and a context window for memory, which is good and nothing more. The Emeryville suite in the press release is a coworking address and does not tell you who you are paying.
What gets praised
- Image generator with eight styles, ControlNet, LoRA and pose control (1 article)
- ElevenLabs and OpenAI voices with speech-to-text (2 articles)
- Character import from c.ai, CharacterHub and SillyTavern cards (1 article)
- Longer context with summarisation, claimed to carry details across days (1 article)
What gets criticised
- Nothing: all three pieces are the company's own copy (0 of 3 articles)
- No prices anywhere in the press (0 of 3 articles)
- No operator named; the only address is a coworking suite in Emeryville (1 article)

Part 3 · Traffic rank and reach
How much traffic NSFWLover gets, and where it ranks
How I track this: search-traffic estimates miss direct visits, apps and social, so for all-traffic reach I use Tranco, a daily ranking of every domain on the internet built from DNS and browser data (Cloudflare Radar, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic, Farsight and Chrome), and I check it against Google’s own Chrome UX Report each month. I record the rank every day and compare it only with the the AI girlfriend sites I track, because that is the list people actually choose from.
On the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, nsfwlover.com ranked #474,926 among every domain worldwide, down 71,641 places since August 31, 2026, and Chrome's data puts it in the top 500,000 most visited sites. Among the AI girlfriend sites I track, that makes it #47, behind Dippy and SugarLab.AI.

Its positions on the category searches
nsfwlover.com's Google positions on the category's searches. DataForSEO, United States, September 2026.
Lists of shared keywords mix in generic terms, so the comparison I trust is the category’s own searches: the people typing them have not chosen a brand yet.
| Search | US searches / month | Position |
|---|---|---|
| “hot ai girlfriend” | 5,400 | #87 |
| “nsfw girlfriend” | 480 | #11 |
How I read it. 0% of this site’s top-keyword traffic comes from people typing its own name, so the category searches are what bring in people who have never heard of it. Not ranking for "ai girlfriend" itself means the site depends on its own name and the longer searches for new users.

| Traffic up 1% on the month | Estimated organic search traffic in September 2026 was 297 visits worldwide, +0.7% versus August 2026 and -62.4% versus September 2025. |
| A 96% collapse, then a recovery to 11% of peak | Traffic fell from 2,810 visits in March 2025 to 124 in July 2026, then climbed back to 11% of that earlier peak by September 2026. |
| 77% of visits come from the United States | The United States accounts for 230 visits, followed by Brazil and United Kingdom. |
| 9.9K people a month search the brand name in the US | Google Ads data puts US searches for "nsfwlover" at about 9,900 a month in August 2026 (+312.5% since September 2025), and worldwide searches at about 27,100. |
| 0% of top-keyword traffic is branded | 0% of the traffic from the top 10 US keywords comes from people typing the brand name, which indicates a meaningful share of visits from generic, non-branded searches. |
| 1.8K referring domains, Domain Rating 35 | 1,815 websites link to nsfwlover.com, +89.5% over the last 12 months; its Domain Rating by Ahrefs is 35 and its DataForSEO domain rank is 53 (69 a year ago). |
| #47 among the AI girlfriend sites I track | NSFWLover sits #47 among the sites I track on the combined data; it holds no tracked position for "ai girlfriend", so its reach across the internet carries more of the weight. Among all domains on the internet it ranks 474,926th in the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, down 71,641 places since August 31, 2026; Google's Chrome UX Report places it in the top 500,000 most visited sites worldwide. |
My take: the story in the numbers
What moved, and why I think it moved: the numbers read together, with the reviews in hand.
Organic traffic has nearly gone, and it went in two steps. NSFWLover had 2,800 visits a month in March 2025 and 297 in September 2026, down 62% on the year and 89% from peak. The first step was August 2025, from 1,573 to 711, with US visits falling from 1,068 to 412; the second was March 2026, from 974 to 176. Neither coincides with a change in demand. Both look like Google re-evaluating the pages that ranked: the site still shows for 'nsfw chat' and 'nsfw chatbot' at #12 and #14, which is page two, where almost nobody clicks.
Brand searches went the other way, and that is the strangest line in any profile I have written. US searches for the name were 2,400 in September 2025, 6,600 in November, 12,100 in December, 18,100 in January and March 2026, then down to 9,900 by August. A sevenfold rise in brand demand while organic visits fall by two thirds means the people searching the name are not landing on it from search, or are not the kind of demand Google counts for the site. The two Reddit accounts promoting it were active in exactly those months, and so was whatever was driving the backlinks.
The backlinks tell me what that was. The site had 30,000 backlinks in October 2024, 407,000 in November, 1.2 million in December, and held 1.1 to 1.2 million for a year; then 755,000 in December 2025, 201,000 in January 2026 and 80,000 now. A million links from a thousand-odd domains is a sitewide placement across a link network, and the collapse is that network being removed or disavowed. Referring domains kept rising, from 613 to 1,815, so some real coverage continued underneath. I disagree with reading DR 35 as earned authority; it was bought and has since been taken away.
The reach rank agrees with the traffic, not the searches. Tranco slipped from 403,285 to 474,926 over the five weeks I have, which puts it #47 of the AI girlfriend sites I track and moving the wrong way. Google Trends has the name at 30 against a 100 peak with 'perchance' as the only rising query. Whatever the brand-search spike was, it has not become visitors who come back by other routes.
The US is the whole audience. Of 297 monthly visits, 241 are American, and the keyword table is entirely English category terms: 'nsfw chat', 'nsfw chatbot', 'nsfw girlfriend', 'unfiltered ai chat', 'uncensored ai image editor'. Those are the queries a site like this needs to win to grow, and it is on page two or worse for all of them. The free tier and the gem economy can keep existing users busy, but there is no sign in these numbers of new ones arriving by search.
Verdict. Holding steady on the scorecard: traffic down 62% on the year, Tranco slipping, Trends off its peak, backlinks down 93% from their plateau, with referring domains and the (falling) brand-search count as the only lines above where they were. What would change my read is a return to page one for 'nsfw chat' or 'nsfw chatbot', which is a 12,100-search query it already half-ranks for; until then the brand searches are a campaign that ended and the traffic is the product's real footprint.

The shape is the story: a 96% fall between March 2025 and July 2026, then a climb back to 11% of the old peak by September 2026. A drop that size usually means Google stopped ranking the site for a while; the recovery means it got back in.

In short
What I learned, and what I expect next
Pulling it together, from my own paid test, from what users say, and from my indicators: NSFWLover is holding steady right now. Here is the whole picture in a few lines, then the scorecard behind it.
How it is performing
NSFWLover drew an estimated 297 visits from Google search in September 2026, +0.7% on August 2026 and -62.4% on a year earlier. The year-on-year figure flatters it because it is measured against the July 2026 low; against the March 2025 peak it is at 11%. Over the last quarter the trend is growing (+63.5% against the three months before). Counting all traffic, it is #47 among the AI girlfriend sites I track, behind Dippy and SugarLab.AI.
Reading the trend with the sources in hand: there are no independent reviews to put next to the numbers, only the company's own press, two promotional Reddit accounts and a ComfyUI thread that spotted its images as AI. What the company says it offers, unlimited free uncensored chat, good voices, a flexible generator, is real and would normally earn some word of mouth; what the numbers show is a site that bought a link profile, ran a naming campaign through forums, watched both get switched off, and is left with page-two rankings and 297 visits a month. The gap between 9,900 people a month typing the name and 297 arriving from search is the thing to explain, and I will be watching whether that gap closes from the top or the bottom.
What changed
Brand demand is the standout: about 9,900 US searches a month (+312.5% year on year) and 27,100 worldwide. People search for the brand more than a year ago, but that interest is not fully turning into search visits yet, so there is room to grow if the site keeps ranking. In popularity terms it has slipped 71,641 places since August 31, 2026. Links are still being earned (+89.5% in 12 months).
What I expect
The indicators point in different directions, so I expect NSFWLover to hold roughly where it is: traffic near 238.667 visits a month and a position around #47 among the sites I track. A sustained rise in brand searches is the signal that would lift it. 8 of its 8 closest search rivals currently get more US search traffic than it does, which is the gap to watch.

What I will check next month
- Whether September 2026’s traffic figure held, rose or fell once the next month is in.
- Whether US brand searches move out of the 9.9K band they have sat in.
- Whether the Tranco rank keeps the direction it showed over the last 30 days.

Part 7 · Method
How I measured all this
I bought a NSFWLover membership and tested it myself, and I come at the write-up as a data researcher. Everything on this page is measured, because the whole point of this site is to rank AI girlfriend platforms by real usage and interest rather than by anyone’s taste, and every brand page uses the same indicators in the same order so they can be compared. I pulled every figure on October 7, 2026.
- Traffic, keywords, backlinks, competitors, WHOIS
- From DataForSEO, refreshed monthly. “Organic traffic” is an estimate of visits from Google results, modelled from the keywords a site ranks for. It leaves out direct visits, app traffic, paid ads and social referrals, so the real audience is bigger; that is why I also show an all-traffic popularity rank.
- Brand search volume
- Google Ads keyword data via DataForSEO. Google rounds these into bands, which is why months often repeat the same figure.
- Domain Rating
- Domain Rating by Ahrefs, a 100-point measure of backlink strength, published under Ahrefs’ Domain Rating license. The DataForSEO domain rank is a separate 100-point backlink score.
- Popularity rank
- The Tranco list, an academic ranking of the top million domains built from DNS and browser data; a rank, not a visit count. The Chrome UX Report tier is Google's own popularity bucket from real Chrome users.
- Trends, videos, forums, press, search suggestions
- Google Trends is relative interest on a 0 to 100 scale, not a count. News, YouTube, Reddit and autocomplete data come through SerpApi from public Google and YouTube results; video views are summed across the videos I found. For the most-watched videos I also pull the caption transcript through SerpApi, read it in full, and write a short account of what the video says plus my own conclusion; videos without captions are listed by title only. For Reddit I read each thread Google surfaces directly from reddit.com in a browser, record its upvotes, comment count and top comments as they stood that day, screenshot the post as it is publicly visible, and classify it after reading; threads with no analysis yet are listed by title. Press articles are read in full and classified the same way; pages that block automated readers are marked as unread. The category search check is a live Google result for the category's own term (United States, desktop) via DataForSEO. Discord counts come from the server's public invite page.
- Hands-on testing
- I purchased a NSFWLover membership and used the product myself: chat, memory, images and the paid extras. My own test tells me what each feature does; the verdict on each feature comes from what users publish, because for a brand this size their view is more grounded than one reviewer's.
- Rounding and independence
- Figures are rounded for display; charts show the exact values. Top AI Girlfriends is not affiliated with DataForSEO, Ahrefs, SerpApi, Google, or NSFWLover.
Part 8 · Final verdict
One last word on NSFWLover
NSFWLover is the most open free tier in my ranking attached to the most expensive VIP month, run by nobody who will give their name, and after a month with it that is the whole review. Unlimited uncensored text without an account is real and rare; the VIP models write long, the ElevenLabs voices and five hours of calls are a strong package, and the generator is fast and flexible. Memory is the context window and nothing more, the newer image models and video sit outside the plan in gems, and the only people recommending the site on Reddit are two accounts that do nothing else.
The trade-off is price for anonymity. At $29.99 for a sale-price month, $9.99 a week or $149.99 a year, you pay more than double Candy AI for a site whose operator is a coworking address and a first name, whose press is its own, and whose link profile was a million bought links that have since vanished. The product is better than that record suggests; the record is what you are trusting with your card and your prompts.
Who should pick it: someone who wants free unlimited uncensored chat with imported character cards and does not care who runs it, or a VIP buyer who values voices and long replies over memory. Who should not: anyone who needs a companion that remembers, anyone paying monthly on a budget, and anyone who wants a named company behind an adult site with a face-swap tool.
Where it stands today: #47 of the AI girlfriend sites I track and slipping, holding steady on my scorecard, with organic traffic down 62% on the year to 297 visits a month, brand searches halved since March, and a backlink count down 93% from its plateau. The condition that would change the verdict is page-one rankings for 'nsfw chat' or 'nsfw chatbot' with a named operator on the site; the first would show the product can earn traffic, the second would make it something I could recommend without the warning.
