My take
Trends is relative, so the two lines say when interest moved, not how big it is. Read them together: the world line peaked in May 2026 and sits at 53 now, level with or above a year ago. The American line has cooled faster than the world line, which fits the volume figures below. The spikes are news cycles, not customers; the floor between them is the demand that pays.

My take
The category is American first and English-speaking second: the US, India, the UK, Canada and Australia are the top of the table every month I have pulled it. Everything below them is small in absolute terms, which is why a site built for one non-English market can be invisible in these numbers and still be real. Worldwide volume is 3.3 times the US figure, so roughly 70% of the people typing the term are outside the US.

My take
Demand and supply do not line up. Americans are 30% of the people searching for the term but only 25.4% of the visits the tracked sites receive, because the biggest sites pull a lot of their audience from India, Indonesia, Brazil and other markets where English-language sites rank and ad budgets are cheap. The American visitor is fewer but worth more: the US is where the brand-name searches and the paid plans concentrate, which is why every brand page on this site reports US figures separately.
