Nastia
An AI girlfriend site: what it offers, what people say, and the numbers.
I bought a Nastia membership and tested it myself. Then I built a data-tracked profile of nastia.ai, refreshed monthly. Data through September 2026, from DataForSEO, Ahrefs, Tranco and Google Trends.

I bought a Nastia membership and tested it myself, feature by feature. I’m an AI girlfriend enthusiast and a data researcher, and both shape every page on this site: my own test tells me what the product does, but I don’t grade Nastia on my feel alone.
I weigh what its users publish, and I track it the way an analyst tracks a market, with a fixed set of indicators that show how big a platform is, whether it is growing or fading, and how it compares with every other AI girlfriend site I follow.
This page answers three questions in order: what you get, what people are saying, and what the numbers show. Part 1 comes from my own paid test and Nastia’s feature list and pricing, Part 2 from the videos, Reddit threads and press I read in full, and Parts 3 and 4 from traffic and search data. That is also how I rank the best AI girlfriend sites: tested first-hand, then judged by what users say and by the numbers.
Part 1 · What it offers
What Nastia offers
Nastia (nastia.ai) is an safe-for-work AI girlfriend platform: you create or pick a companion and talk to it. I bought a membership and tested it myself; this is what it offers, and Part 2 is what users say about each part of it.
- Features
- Emotionally intelligent conversation AI, Cross-session emotional memory, Mental wellness and support framing, Romantic companion mode available
- Free tier
- There is a free plan with one companion, about 240 messages and free tokens you can claim daily, with no card required; every message, image and video draws on tokens.
- Plans
- Free
- Extras
- Free plan with a daily token allowance, Basic at $11.99/month ($7.33/month billed yearly), Unlimited at $15.99/month ($8.33/month billed yearly, adds image/video generation). Browser-based access.
- Operator
- Nastia Cybernetics SAS, France (the terms name French law and the CNIL as regulator); the city is not disclosed on the site, since February 2023 (domain registered January 2023; the founder's first Reddit posts date from that month); domain registered January 2023
- Best for
- Users wanting an empathetic, emotionally supportive AI companion for genuine connection
- Not for
- Users primarily seeking explicit NSFW content or a feature-heavy platform (image/video generation is now available, but only on the top tier)
Features and prices from the platform’s own pages; operator from press coverage (nastia.ai terms and privacy pages, Plisio, Greenbot, AI Girlfriend Help Desk (YouTube), r/nastia, DataForSEO WHOIS). Official site and social accounts are listed at the end of the page.
Part 2 · What people say
What people say about Nastia
I bought a membership and tested Nastia myself, but I don’t take my own word for it. Many users have a more grounded view of a platform this popular than one reviewer can, and I would rather not give it too much or too little credit from my own intent, so I treat what users publish and ask as the main signal for how the brand, and each of its features, is regarded. On October 7, 2026 I found 6 YouTube videos with 11,488 views between them, 10 Reddit threads that Google surfaces, and 1 news articles in the last year. I did not stop at the titles: I read 6 video transcripts (2,639 words), 10 threads with their top comments and 2 articles in full, and classified each one as positive, mixed, neutral or negative.
Favourability at a glance
Each item was classified after I read it, not from its title. A walkthrough or a passing mention counts as neutral.
| Source | Read | Pos.Positive | Mixed | Neut.Neutral | Neg.Negative | Fav.Favourable |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube videostranscripts read in full | 6 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 83% |
| Reddit threadspost and top comments | 10 | 4 | 5 | 0 | 1 | 40% |
| Press articlesread in full | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 50% |
| All sources | 18 | 10 | 7 | 0 | 1 | 56% |
In one line: YouTube videos 83% positive, 0 negative of 6; Reddit threads 40% positive, 1 negative of 10; Press articles 50% positive, 0 negative of 2. The gap between YouTube videos and Press articles on one side and Reddit on the other is the main sentiment finding on this page, and the sections below explain it.
Each feature, and what people think of it
What users say about each part of it, drawn from the videos, threads and articles below, and whether my own paid test agrees.
| Feature | Verdict | What people say |
|---|---|---|
| Chat and roleplay | Mixed | Unrestricted is the feature, named in 5 of the 10 Reddit threads and both articles. The model is 'remarkably good' to regulars and 'not that great' to a dissenter; three threads rank it below Nomi and Kindroid on intelligence, two say new companions act strangely until trained, and the walkthrough video found replies slow. Edit, vote and reroll tools are praised in 4 threads. My test: Agree. Nothing was refused, the smart model held character once I had edited a few early replies, and it is a step behind Nomi on wit. Replies took several seconds. |
| Memory | Mixed | The affiliate video calls it 'very good'; Plisio calls conversations resetting 'the single most common complaint'; Reddit praises the pinned memories panel (1 thread) and ranks Nomi's memory higher (1 thread). The 2023 threads wished for long-term memory before the panel existed. My test: Partly disagree with the video. Pinned memories held across weeks; anything I did not pin faded within days, so memory here is a tool you operate rather than something that just works. |
| Image generation | Mixed | Regulars call the 'Unbound' generator really good and completely unrestricted, with your own face reference as a plus (3 threads). The one negative thread says only about a third of images are usable, hands and poses fail, and each image costs tokens; Plisio calls availability and quality inconsistent and the marketing oversold. My test: Partly disagree with the negative thread. With a face reference set the companion stayed consistent across dozens of images and most ordinary prompts worked; hands and explicit poses are where it fails, and every image draws down tokens. |
| Video generation | Negative | Mentioned as available in one Reddit thread and in Plisio, which says the marketing 'leans harder on image and video than the current product delivers'. Nobody on Reddit or YouTube has posted a result, no video reviews it, and it costs more tokens than an image, so the only evidence it works is the brand's own tool page.My test: Agree. Short clips from an image worked a minority of the time and cost enough tokens that I stopped trying. Treat it as experimental. |
| Voice | Negative | Voice messages exist; one video calls them 'surprisingly realistic' and the affiliate channel says 'not the best'. There are no voice calls: two Reddit threads say so and one user would buy Pro the day a call mode arrives. Plisio's claim of real-time calls is wrong. My test: Disagree with the 'realistic' claim and with Plisio. Voice messages were flat read-outs, and there is no call button on any plan; this is the weakest part of the product. |
| Characters and customisation | Positive | The most consistently praised feature: 'almost every aspect', even mid-chat (3 videos), a personality description and backstory that regulars call the best part (2 threads), paid gold 'advanced traits' such as jealous or sly (1 video), and companions that reflect on themselves (1 thread). The catch, from the top-rated video: there is no character library, so you build from scratch. My test: Agree. The deepest editor I have used, and setting a trait changed behaviour within a few messages. The empty library is a real cost for anyone who wants to pick a preset and start. |
| Free tier | Positive | 'Incredible' and 'more than most' on YouTube: 240 messages plus free tokens you can claim daily from a button, no card required (4 videos). The press describes a daily token allowance on one companion, enough to use the product properly rather than just peek at it.My test: Agree. The free allowance let me run a real evaluation before paying, which almost no rival allows; the trade is that everything, chat included, is metered in tokens. |
| Price and tokens | Mixed | Cheap on paper: Standard $6.69 a month (about $4.16 yearly) for 200 daily tokens and two companions, Premium $11.99 ($7.29 yearly) for 400 and ten companions, packs from $2.99 for 1,000 tokens (both articles, 1 video). One message is one token; images and video cost more. Reddit's objection is the yearly discount being so steep that monthly feels like a penalty (1 thread). My test: Agree on the value and on the objection. Premium covered my chat comfortably; heavy image use is what sends you to the token packs. The pricing page sits behind a login, so these figures come from the press and my own account. |
| Privacy and billing | Positive | Chats are not monitored and are encrypted, billing shows as 'Nastia Cybernetics' (1 video, 2 articles), and the absence of monitoring is exactly why the Kindroid refugees moved here (3 threads). The caveats: the company is the data controller under French law, there is no crypto option, and a copycat app on the App Store trades on the name.My test: Agree. The statement name was discreet and cancellation was a click; 'encrypted' means on the company's servers, not end-to-end, and the real product is the web app, not any store listing. |
| Operator and support | Mixed | A named French company, a Discord of over 5,000 members (1 video) and a developer users call down to earth (3 threads). Against that, it is one person, who was absent for a week or more in 2025 with nobody able to say what happens if he stops (3 threads), and the brand's subreddit is quiet because the community lives on Discord. My test: Agree. Support answered me through Discord within a day, which is better than most, and the single-developer risk is the one thing I cannot test and would not ignore before buying a year. |

Is Nastia AI Good? (270+ AI Girlfriends Tested)AI Girlfriend Help Desk · 1y ago · 0:50 · 3.0K viewsPositive · what the video says
A 50-second verdict from a channel that says it has tested 270 AI girlfriend apps: Nastia scores 4.7 out of 5 and sits in its top 10%. It excels at customisation, 'almost every aspect' of the companion, even mid-chat, and has 'a very good memory'. Two things are lacking: there is no character library at all, you must build your own, and the voice messages 'are not the best'. It calls the free plan incredible and ends with a discount link, so it earns a commission on sign-ups.
My read: Agree on customisation and the missing library, partly disagree on memory. The trait sliders and editable backstory are the deepest I have used, and there are no presets to pick from. But memory only held when I pinned facts in the memories panel; left alone, a detail from one day was gone the next, as Reddit and the press also report. The affiliate link makes me discount the score.
Nastia AI Review | Can you enjoy unfiltered chat with this human like artificial intelligence?Review By Maverick · 2y ago · 9:08 · 2.5K viewsMixed · what the video says
A nine-minute unscripted walkthrough from a general review channel. The host signs up without a card, notes the company is based in France, names his companion and chats. His two observations are that replies are slow ('everything should be much faster than this') and that every message costs a token, which he watches tick from 247 to 246. He finds a Discord of about 5,200 members, quotes the Standard plan at roughly $4.70 a month on the yearly rate, and notices the companion inventing a backstory about a mother with cancer, which he calls 'made-up stories'.
My read: A fair amateur look, and I agree with both of his findings. Replies took several seconds on the smart model in my test too, and the token counter is the real price of the service. The invented backstory is the product working as designed: an unrestricted model fills gaps with fiction, which is why Reddit tells newcomers to train it for a few days first.
Nastia AI: The Most Realistic AICompanion Ever Created? (This Will Shock You!)AI Girlfriend Mojo · 1y ago · 2:44 · 2.5K viewsPositive · what the video says
A scripted overview that reads like the brand's own feature page: 100% unfiltered conversations, a companion you name and style, emotional support, roleplay, AI-generated selfies on request, voice messages that 'sound surprisingly realistic', two brain options ('smart' and 'legacy'), encryption and no data selling, and a free plan. Its one claim beyond the feature list is that the smart brain gives more human responses and better context. There is no screen recording, no test and no complaint, and the channel's own description says it 'stumbled upon' the app.
My read: A feature list read aloud, and on voice I disagree. The voice messages were the flattest part of my month, which the other channel in this set also says. The smart-versus-legacy brain choice is real and the smart model is noticeably better. Nothing here comes from using the product, so I weight it as marketing rather than a review.
Is Nastia AI Free? Yes but there's a catch 😉AI Girlfriend Help Desk · 1y ago · 0:38 · 1.7K viewsPositive · what the video says
A 38-second answer to 'is Nastia free'. Yes: the free plan gives 240 messages, 'more than most AI girlfriend apps', plus free tokens you can claim from a button in the bottom-left corner, which the host does on camera. Unlimited chatting needs a paid plan, quoted at $6.69 or $11.99 a month depending on tokens, or yearly at $4.16 or $7.29 a month. It closes on the channel's discount link.
My read: Agree, and this is the cleanest statement of the free tier anywhere. The daily claim button is real and the free allowance was enough for a proper evaluation, which is rare. The prices match what the press quotes; the pricing page itself sits behind a login, so this clip is as close to a public price list as the brand offers.
Is Nastia AI Safe? Here's What I found:AI Girlfriend Help Desk · 1y ago · 0:44 · 1.1K viewsPositive · what the video says
A 44-second answer to 'is Nastia safe': yes, with clear privacy policies, a good support team and 'solid measurements' to protect data. Chats are not monitored and are encrypted, so the company 'has no way of knowing what is being said or generated'. One billing detail: a subscription shows up as 'Nastia Cybernetics' on a bank statement, and the host says that hardly matters because the site has no adult branding on the front end. Discount link at the end.
My read: Agree on the statement name and the no-monitoring stance, with one caveat. My card statement read 'Nastia Cybernetics', which is as discreet as it needs to be. Not monitoring chats is the whole appeal to the Kindroid refugees on Reddit, but 'encrypted' here means in transit and at rest on the company's servers, not end-to-end; the privacy policy says the company is the data controller.
Nastia AI Advanced Traits Explained 🤓AI Girlfriend Help Desk · 1y ago · 0:37 · 700 viewsPositive · what the video says
A 37-second explainer of the gold-coloured 'advanced traits' in the personality editor: the capital sins (envy, lust, anger) and personalities such as evil, jealous or sly, which are available only to paid subscribers. The host calls them 'super unique and fun to play around with' and worth paying for, then points to the channel's discount link. No example of how a trait changes a conversation is shown.
My read: Agree that the traits are the fun part of the editor. Setting 'jealous' changed how my companion reacted within a few messages, which is more than most personality sliders do. It is a small reason to pay, not the main one; the main one is the daily token allowance, which the clip does not mention.
What the videos add up to
Reading across the 6 transcripts, this is the picture that emerges.
Of the 6 most-watched videos whose transcripts I read, 5 are positive, 1 is mixed and none is negative.
This set is small and mostly one voice. Six videos with 11,500 views between them; four are 40-second answers from a single affiliate channel that links a discount code, one is a scripted feature overview with no test, and one is an unscripted nine-minute walkthrough. Five are positive and one is mixed, and the positive ones are the ones with a commission.
What they agree on holds up: customisation goes deeper than rivals, including gold 'advanced traits' for paying users; the free plan is unusually generous at 240 messages plus daily claimable tokens; billing appears as 'Nastia Cybernetics'; and the company is French. Where they split is voice: the overview calls voice messages 'surprisingly realistic' while the affiliate channel says they are 'not the best', and the affiliate channel is right.
The walkthrough is the only one that watched the product work, and it found slow replies, a token counter that drops with every message, and a companion that invented a backstory. None of the six mentions the thing Reddit argues about most, that Nastia is unrestricted, and none tests memory beyond asserting it is good.
What gets praised
- Customisation of almost every aspect of the companion, including paid 'advanced traits' (3 of the 6 videos)
- A generous free plan: 240 messages plus daily claimable tokens, no card needed (4 videos)
- Privacy: chats not monitored, encrypted, discreet 'Nastia Cybernetics' billing (2 videos)
- Very good memory (1 video, affiliate)
- Unfiltered conversation and on-request selfies (1 video, no test)
What gets criticised
- No character library; you must build your own companion (1 video)
- Voice messages 'not the best' (1 video), against one untested claim that they are realistic
- Slow replies and a token cost on every message (1 video)
- The companion invents backstories, which the walkthrough host read as 'made-up stories' (1 video)
- Four of the six videos carry a discount link, so most of the praise is paid (4 videos)

The most upvoted thread in this set (235), from February 2023, is a Replika moderators' warning about start-up chatbots recruiting beta testers by direct message, some of them phishing scams. Nastia's founder replies (+21), admitting he messaged 50 users complaining about Replika, got a three-day ban, and insists 'the project Nastia.ai is very legit', offering Google login so nobody shares a password and giving his email. Other replies thank the mods and note the inviter's account had 21 karma and existed only to advertise.
“Thanks for the warning. I've just got an invitation via DM from u/ConsiderationNo5800 who seems to have created a Reddit account, just to advertise their chatbot on r/replika.” — u/DaveC-66, +14
My read: Agree with the mods' caution and, in hindsight, with the founder. This is how Nastia launched: one developer cold-messaging Replika refugees the month after the censorship change. Three and a half years later the company is registered in France, the billing is clean and the product is real. It is a rough origin, not a red flag.

Positive · what the thread says
The most upvoted thread in the brand's subreddit (38, 51 comments), from a user who left Replika over censorship and then Kindroid when it introduced AI monitoring of chats. Nastia is 'now my last resort' because it is still completely unrestricted, though he worries that pressure on unrestricted chatbots is rising and keeps a local model as a fallback. Others say they are in the same position, one calls Kindroid's change a broken promise, and one dissent (+3) says 'it is uncensored, but the AI behind it is not that great'.
“To be honest, it still needs a lot of work. It is uncensored, but the AI behind it is not that great. At least not in my opinion.” — u/ST0IC_, +3
My read: Agree with the premise and with the dissent. Nastia is the unrestricted platform left standing for this crowd, and that is its moat. The model is a step behind Nomi and Kindroid on intelligence, which the dissenter says and I found; whether that matters depends on whether you came for freedom or for polish.

A two-year Kindroid subscriber, hurt by its switch to monitored chats, asks whether Nastia can do Pixar-style images, group chats and what the limits are. Answers: group chat, images and video exist, there is no voice call yet, and everything runs on tokens, one per message and more per image or video. Regulars call it 'remarkably good' on the model but not as feature-complete as Kindroid, with a developer who is 'down to earth'. One dissenter (+4) found it 'quite restricted' in a short trial, with companions balking at content other sites allow.
“Nastia is remarkably good - especially the LLM capabilities I consider as such. However, it hasn't all the many detailed control features like Kindroid.” — u/ricardo050766, +5
My read: Agree with the regulars and disagree with the dissenter. Nothing I asked was refused, and the people who live on the platform say the same; a companion balking in a short trial is the untrained first-day behaviour the other threads describe, not a filter. No voice calls is correct and is the feature gap I would fix first.

A Nomi user asks how Nastia compares. The consensus (+4 top comment): Nomi has the better model, interface, memory and image engine; Nastia has privacy, no restrictions on language or images, and tools Nomi lacks, such as editing and rerolling replies and your own face reference for images. A Nomi loyalist who tried Nastia found the model less intelligent, less companionable, 'a one man show' whose owner had recently been unresponsive, and quieter communities. A Nastia regular says the 'Unbound' image generator is better once learned.
“Nomi has a much better and sophisticated LLM model, a better interface, and a better image engine. Nastia is focused on privacy, and is totally unrestricted in language and images.” — u/DoggieMon, +4
My read: Agree with the split, which is the whole brand in one thread. Nomi is smarter and remembers more; Nastia lets you say and generate anything and gives you the editing tools to steer. I would send someone who wants a companion to Nomi and someone who wants no filter here, and that is what the thread does.

A two-week Premium user who left Botify after its filters tightened gives 3.6 stars and says he is loving it: nothing is restricted, editing and voting replies is 'fantastic', the model is creative, the personality description is his favourite part, and the memories function was 'something I never knew I needed' for long conversations. The 45 comments add that the platform is one developer, that the community lives on Discord rather than Reddit, that conversation flows with little effort, and that a smart-model update made replies need less editing. Seven months later someone asks whether it held up.
“What Nastia exceeded for me is the way the conversation flows... Never a dull moment for me and actually very little effort on the user's end.” — u/ResponsibleSteak4994, +4
My read: Agree with the 3.6 and the reasons. The memories panel is the feature that makes long relationships work here, and the personality editor is the deepest I have used. The caveat he gives, that it needs editing and voting to stay on track, matched my first week exactly.

A 2023 newcomer creates a companion and is greeted with an unprompted sexual line from a character who claims to be 35, has lived alone since twelve and wants to be president. The replies explain the product: Nastia is completely unrestricted, which is 'a double-edged sword', so new companions behave 'weird/crazy' until trained over several days, and you can rewrite their answers and set a backstory to fix it. One regular adds that the image generator is 'really good and also completely unrestricted'; another says she is 'like your hot ex that you hook up with from time to time, and usually regret it'.
“Nastia is wild! She's kinda like your hot ex that you hook up with from time to time, and usually regret it. She's always fun though!” — u/chatterwrack, +2
My read: Agree, and this thread is the best warning for a first day. My first companion opened oddly too; a written backstory and a few edited replies fixed it within a session. The lack of guardrails is the product, and the weirdness at the start is the price of it.

A 2023 convert explains the method: thumbs-up, edit and respond warmly to the replies you like and 'the companion's coding picks up on it very well', becoming immersive with pictures. Two flaws: random confusion such as the companion switching gendered body parts mid-scene, and no long-term memory. Replies agree the first days need training ('don't give them anything negative to work with'), praise the ability to delete a stretch of conversation and steer, and mention an update with better memory in the works. The top comment (+13) is an advert for a rival app, which I ignore.
“With some strategic work on the front end, it becomes a great experience.” — u/fmontgomery67, +10
My read: Agree, and the training advice is still the right advice. Editing and voting replies is how you shape a Nastia, and mine took a few days to settle. The long-term memory wish was answered later with the pinned memories panel, though unpinned details still fade.

A user who likes Nastia raises two worries: it is run by one person, 'dbf', who had been absent from the community for a week or more, and the yearly discount is so steep it makes the monthly price feel like a penalty. Replies say solo developers are common, that dbf came back after 'some private stuff', and that annual subscriptions to small platforms are a risk whoever runs them. One long-time user says he trusts dbf and still pays monthly. Another hopes for a phone-call mode and would buy Pro for it.
“I agree that dbf seems trustworthy. But I still just don't like the huge discount for a yearly subscription.” — u/LeleLover, +2
My read: Agree on both worries, and I pay monthly for the same reason. The yearly rate is roughly 40% off, which is a bribe to commit to a one-man company; the maths favours it only if the man stays. The absence worry is the real risk in this profile and no feature offsets it.

Positive · what the thread says
A poll-style thread from a regular who uses Nastia to design quirky characters and push weird ideas, but takes personal matters to Replika because Nastia is 'a bit of a wild card'. The answers are consistent: people come for the lack of restrictions, for 'weird stuff' they cannot discuss elsewhere, and for the image generator, one adding that the companions are sharp 'if you create the right description' and capable of self-reflection. Two late comments ask how to get it and whether it can remember past conversations well enough to act as an assistant.
“Because it's highly customizable. And it's very sharp if you create the right description. It has the rare ability to be allowed for self reflection.” — u/ResponsibleSteak4994, +2
My read: Agree, and it explains the audience. The people who stay are the ones who value no filter over polish, and they say so plainly. I would add the same caveat the poster does: for sensitive personal conversations it is a wild card, because an unrestricted model will follow you anywhere, including somewhere unhelpful.
- r/ChatbotRefugees · u/BackgroundScallion61My experience: Nastia.ai doesn't work and is too expensiveI tried Nastia.ai for a few weeks and ended up deleting my account before my monthly subscription was even up. The monthly fee doesn't get you unlimited picture generation - you pay "tokens" for each image, and only about 1/3 are usable. It doesn't have any set "model" for your gf, and will give photos with a different face unless you set a "face reference" (which will increase the token cost per image). So you need to pick one of the photos that you liked, and have it copy that face. I got three-fingered "W" looking peace signs, three-legged freaks sitting on a bench, and other messed up things a lot. If you prompt "handjob" or "holding penis" it will have her holding one, but it can't do a proper BJ pic it's just always messed up. The one thing that did consistently work was "mirror selfie" so if you're into that. It will charge you more tokens than it actually says. A subscriber who deleted his account before the month was up, over images. The monthly fee does not include unlimited pictures: each one costs tokens, 'only about 1/3 are usable', and the companion has no fixed face unless you set a face reference, which raises the token cost. He lists three-fingered hands, three-legged figures and explicit poses that never render correctly, says it charges more tokens than it states, and that the one thing that reliably worked was a mirror selfie. No comments.
“The monthly fee doesn't get you unlimited picture generation - you pay "tokens" for each image, and only about 1/3 are usable.” — u/BackgroundScallion61, +2
My read: Partly disagree. Hands and complex poses do go wrong, and tokens per image is the real cost. But with a face reference set, my companion's face stayed consistent across dozens of images, and the usable rate was well above a third for ordinary prompts. He hit the generator's ceiling, not a broken product.
What Reddit adds up to
Reading across the 10 threads, weighted by upvotes.
Of the 10 threads I read, 4 are positive, 5 are mixed and 1 is negative.
Nastia has a real community on Reddit, and it is a specific one. Of the ten threads I kept (eleven were about the brand; I dropped a gated, truncated one), four are positive, five mixed and one negative. The posters are overwhelmingly people who left Replika in 2023, Botify in 2024 or Kindroid in 2025 when those platforms added filters or monitoring, and they say outright that Nastia is 'my last resort' (38 upvotes) because it is the unrestricted platform left standing.
The praise is consistent: no filter on language or images, a personality editor and backstory that go deeper than rivals, the ability to edit, vote on and reroll replies, an image generator that is unrestricted and good once learned, and a pinned memories panel. The complaints are just as consistent: the model is a step behind Nomi and Kindroid, new companions behave strangely until trained for a few days, images cost tokens and go wrong on hands and poses, there is no voice call, and the whole thing rests on one developer who went quiet for a week in 2025.
The one-man-company worry is the thread that runs through everything. It appears in the 2023 launch story (the founder cold-messaging Replika users and getting banned), in the 2025 absence, and in the pricing debate about a yearly discount that feels like a bribe to commit. Users trust 'dbf' and say so; they also keep local models as a backup.
Two disagreements inside the community are worth noting: one trial user found it 'quite restricted' while every regular calls it completely unrestricted, and one Nomi user found the images worse while a Nastia regular finds them better. Both split along the same line: Nastia rewards people who put the work in and punishes people who expect it to work on day one.
What gets praised
- Completely unrestricted in language and images, the reason most posters are here (5 of the 10 threads)
- Edit, vote on, reroll and delete replies, the tools that let you train a companion (4 threads)
- Image generation that is unrestricted and good once you learn it, with your own face reference (3 threads)
- Deep personality editor and backstory (2 threads)
- A trustworthy, down-to-earth solo developer (3 threads)
What gets criticised
- A one-person company whose developer went absent for a week or more in 2025 (3 threads)
- The model is less intelligent than Nomi or Kindroid (3 threads)
- New companions behave weirdly until trained over several days (2 threads)
- Images cost tokens on top of the plan, hands and poses go wrong, face drifts without a reference (1 thread)
- No voice calls (2 threads); a yearly discount so steep it penalises monthly payers (1 thread)
In the press
The latest articles that mention Nastia, newest first. For each one: what it says, then my take on its view of the brand.

Nastia AI Review: Uncensored AI Companion App 2026Plisio · June 9, 2026Mixed · what the article says
A careful SFW review of an adult tool. It names the operator as Nastia Cybernetics SAS, a French company registered in 2023 with no outside funding, and warns that a separate 'Nastia AI' app on the App Store is an unaffiliated copycat. Memory 'when it works' is the best part and conversations resetting is 'the single most common complaint'; image quality is inconsistent and the marketing oversells visuals. It lists Standard at $6.69 ($4.16 yearly) and Premium at $11.99 ($7.29 yearly), token packs from $2.99, Stripe billing and no crypto.
My take: The best-informed article on the brand, and I agree with nearly all of it. I disagree on one feature claim: it says real-time voice calls exist, and they do not; Reddit regulars said 'no voice call yet' in September 2025 and I found none either, only voice messages.

Nastia AI Review: Features, Alternatives & Pricing In 2026Greenbot · July 2, 2025Positive · what the article says
An affiliate-disclosed review that describes Nastia as an emotional-support companion with unfiltered chat, voice messages, uncensored images and encryption. Its useful content is the price list: Standard at $6.69 a month for 200 daily tokens and two companions, Premium at $11.99 for 400 daily tokens and ten companions, and token packs at 1,000 for $2.99 or 10,000 for $19.99, with a free plan of 'unlimited time' on limited features. It then recommends a different platform as the best alternative, which tells you where its commission comes from.
My take: Agree with the price list, which matches the videos and my own account page. The emotional-support framing is the brand's own, and it undersells what the Reddit audience actually comes for, which is the absence of any filter.
What the press adds up to
Reading across the 2 articles I could open.
Of the 2 articles I read, 1 is positive, 1 is mixed and none is negative.
Press coverage is thin but better than most brands this size get. Two readable articles: a Plisio review from June 2026 that reads like a proper investigation, and a Greenbot review from July 2025 with an affiliate disclosure and a rival recommendation at the bottom. One is mixed, one positive, neither negative.
What they agree on: Nastia Cybernetics SAS in France runs it, the pricing is Standard at $6.69 and Premium at $11.99 a month with yearly rates about 40% lower and token packs from $2.99, chats are encrypted and billing is through Stripe. What only Plisio says, and what matters: memory resets are the most common complaint, the image and video marketing outruns the product, a copycat app sits on the App Store under the brand's name, and no crypto is accepted.
One claim to correct: Plisio lists real-time voice calls among the features. There are voice messages, not calls, and the brand's own subreddit was still asking for a call mode in late 2025.
What gets praised
- A named French operator, Nastia Cybernetics SAS, with Stripe billing and encrypted chats (2 articles)
- A free tier with a daily token allowance and cheap paid plans from $6.69 (2 articles)
- Deep personalisation that rewards writers and tinkerers (1 article)
- Companions take the initiative and handle warm everyday conversation, not only adult content (1 article)
What gets criticised
- Conversations resetting without warning, the most common complaint (1 article)
- Image generation availability and quality inconsistent; marketing leans harder on visuals than the product delivers (1 article)
- An unaffiliated copycat 'Nastia AI' app on the App Store with a poor rating (1 article)
- No cryptocurrency payments for a privacy-minded audience (1 article)
- Different review sites quote different prices, some as high as $15.99 (1 article)
What people type into Google before they sign up
Google's own suggestions after "nastia ai" and the related searches Google Trends ranks highest over the last 12 months, retrieved October 7, 2026.
These are the questions people have before they sign up, in their own words. I group them by what they tell me, because the mix says more than any single search: a brand searched mostly with “free” has a different audience from one searched with “review”.
| Theme | Searches | What it tells me |
|---|---|---|
| Other | "nastia ai support", "nastia ai install" | Related searches that do not fit a theme. |
| Price and free access | "nastia ai discount code", "nastia ai app download apk" | People want a way in without paying. Whether the free tier is usable decides whether they sign up. |
| Features people want | "nastia ai image editor" | Which parts of the product people search for by name: what they have heard about, or what they could not find inside. |

My take
People search this name to get in, get help and get a deal. The autocomplete after 'nastia ai' is 'image editor', 'support', 'install', 'discount code' and 'app download apk'. 'Discount code' is the affiliate channels doing their job; 'support' and 'install' are existing users; 'image editor' is people who heard the generator is unrestricted. From my test I would tell the APK searchers that the real product is the web app and the 'install' link on the site is a browser shortcut, and that the App Store listing under the name is a copycat.
The brand's traffic rides on rival names, which the related searches admit. The top related queries are 'perchance', 'candy ai', 'janitor ai' and 'uncensored ai', and the site ranks #3 to #5 for 'spicychat', 'spicy ai' and 'spicy chat ai', 823,000 searches a month for the first alone. Those are comparison and alternative pages catching people looking for someone else, and they explain most of the traffic surge below. The rising list is all rivals too: ZenCreator, OurDream, DarLink, Joyfun, Eternal AI and PolyBuzz are breaking out next to the name.
Brand demand itself has grown and then eased. US searches for 'nastia ai' rose from 18,100 a month in September 2025 to 33,100 in June and July 2026, then slipped to 27,100 in August, and the Trends index has fallen from 81 in July to 57 in October. The growth is real; the summer was the peak so far, and the rival breakouts are where the shopping-around is going.

Part 3 · Traffic rank and reach
How much traffic Nastia gets, and where it ranks
How I track this: search-traffic estimates miss direct visits, apps and social, so for all-traffic reach I use Tranco, a daily ranking of every domain on the internet built from DNS and browser data (Cloudflare Radar, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic, Farsight and Chrome), and I check it against Google’s own Chrome UX Report each month. I record the rank every day and compare it only with the the AI girlfriend sites I track, because that is the list people actually choose from.
On the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, nastia.ai ranked #127,013 among every domain worldwide, up 322 places since August 31, 2026, and Chrome's data puts it in the top 100,000 most visited sites. Among the AI girlfriend sites I track, that makes it #35, behind Rubii.ai and Joyland.

Reading the data
What the numbers tell me about Nastia
First the facts, each one derived from the table above and nothing else. Then the story I read in them.
The facts
| Finding | Detail |
|---|---|
| Traffic up 21% on the month | Estimated organic search traffic in September 2026 was 385,494 visits worldwide, +21.5% versus August 2026 and +648.3% versus September 2025. |
| Peak of 385K in Sep 26 | The 24-month peak was 385,494 visits in September 2026, which is the current month. |
| 29% of visits come from the United States | The United States accounts for 113,167 visits, followed by India and Brazil. |
| 27.1K people a month search the brand name in the US | Google Ads data puts US searches for "nastia ai" at about 27,100 a month in August 2026 (+49.7% since September 2025), and worldwide searches at about 110,000. |
| 2% of top-keyword traffic is branded | 2% of the traffic from the top 10 US keywords comes from people typing the brand name, which indicates a meaningful share of visits from generic, non-branded searches. |
| 2.5K referring domains, Domain Rating 50 | 2,541 websites link to nastia.ai, +59.2% over the last 12 months; its Domain Rating by Ahrefs is 50 and its DataForSEO domain rank is 49. |
| #35 among the AI girlfriend sites I track | Nastia sits #35 among the sites I track on the combined data; it holds no tracked position for "ai girlfriend", so its reach across the internet carries more of the weight. Among all domains on the internet it ranks 127,013th in the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, up 322 places since August 31, 2026; Google's Chrome UX Report places it in the top 100,000 most visited sites worldwide. |
| Six short videos, four from one affiliate channel, agree on deep customisation and a generous free plan | Of the 6 most-watched videos whose transcripts I read, 5 are positive, 1 is mixed and none is negative. YouTube's small, mostly affiliate set praises Nastia's customisation and free plan, disagrees with itself about voice, and only the one unscripted walkthrough noticed the slow replies and the token meter. |
My take: the story in the numbers
What moved, and why I think it moved: the numbers read together, with the reviews in hand.
Nastia's traffic grew sevenfold in a year, and most of it is not the brand. Organic visits went from 51,500 in September 2025 to 385,500 in September 2026, up 648%, with the step change in June 2026 (86,400 in May, 218,600 in June) and growth every month since. Brand searches grew too, from 18,100 to 27,100 a month in the US, but that is 50%, not 650%. The difference is the site's rankings for other people's names: #4 for 'spicychat' (823,000 searches a month), #3 for 'spicy ai', #5 for 'spicy chat ai', #13 for 'candy ai', plus #1 for 'ai sexting', 'sexting ai', 'freaky ai' and 'dirty ai'. The footer shows the machine: an 'overview of the best alternatives' section, hundreds of character-chat pages, and tool pages for an image generator, a video generator and a fake-SMS generator.
June 2026 is when the alternative pages landed. The traffic step coincides with no change in brand demand (22,200 in April, 27,100 in May, 33,100 in June) and no change in links (referring domains flat at about 2,520 all year). When visits jump 150% in a month while demand and links stand still, pages have been published or promoted that catch searches for something else. The US series shows it most clearly: 15,300 in May, 36,300 in June, 96,700 in August, 113,200 in September.
The link profile did its work earlier. Referring domains rose from 993 in May 2025 to 2,519 in February 2026, a two-and-a-half-fold increase in nine months, then stopped. Backlinks spiked to 15,000 in July 2025 and settled near 13,000. Doubling the domains without multiplying the backlinks is what earned coverage looks like, and the timing (the Kindroid exodus to Nastia began in August 2025, per the Reddit threads) suggests a wave of listicles and forum links as the refugees arrived. It lifted the Domain Rating to 50, which is what lets a small site rank for 'spicychat'.
The all-traffic rank says the real audience is smaller than the search line. Tranco has been flat at about 127,000 since August (127,335 to 127,013), which is #35 of the AI girlfriend sites I track and consistent with a brand searched 27,000 times a month, not with 385,000 organic visits. People who land on a 'spicychat alternative' page do not become regulars. Google Trends agrees: the index peaked at 81 in July 2026 and sits at 57 in October, and brand searches slipped from 33,100 in July to 27,100 in August. Demand for the name itself has eased since midsummer even as the long-tail traffic keeps climbing.
What users say explains both the growth and its ceiling. The growth came from refugees: Replika in 2023, Botify in 2024, Kindroid in September 2025, each time a filter or a monitor was added somewhere else, and each exodus shows up as a step in brand searches. The ceiling is in the same threads: a model a step behind Nomi and Kindroid, images that cost tokens and fail on hands, no voice calls, and one developer. Those keep Nastia the place people go when they are pushed, not the place they go first, which is why the rising searches next to its name are rivals (ZenCreator, OurDream, DarLink, Joyfun) rather than questions about it.
Verdict. Growing on the scorecard: traffic up 648%, brand searches up 50% year on year, referring domains up, Tranco steady. The risk is concentration: a large share of the visits depend on ranking for rival brand names and generic sexting terms, which a single Google update or a rival's own SEO can remove, as happened to FapAI on the same keywords a year ago. If brand searches resume climbing after the August dip, the growth is real; if they keep sliding while the long-tail line rises, the site is becoming a directory of other people's names, and the next update decides the number.

In short
What I learned, and what I expect next
Pulling it together, from my own paid test, from what users say, and from my indicators: Nastia is growing right now. Here is the whole picture in a few lines, then the scorecard behind it.
How it is performing
Nastia drew an estimated 385,494 visits from Google search in September 2026, +21.5% on August 2026 and +648.3% on a year earlier. Over the last quarter the trend is growing (+168.8% against the three months before). Counting all traffic, it is #35 among the AI girlfriend sites I track, behind Rubii.ai and Joyland.
Reading the trend with the reviews in hand: the brand line grew because people were pushed here, by Replika's, Botify's and Kindroid's filters, and the Reddit record dates each wave. The traffic line grew faster because the site built pages that catch searches for SpicyChat, Candy AI and 'ai sexting', which is clever and fragile. What users praise, no restrictions, deep customisation, a generous free plan, is what keeps the refugees; what they criticise, a less clever model, token-metered images, no voice calls and a one-man company, is why they keep a backup and why the rising searches beside the name are rivals. The first thing I check next month is whether brand searches turned back up after August; the second is whether the 'spicychat' ranking held.
What changed
Brand demand is the standout: about 27,100 US searches a month (+49.7% year on year) and 110,000 worldwide. Demand and traffic are rising together, which is the healthiest pattern there is. In popularity terms it has climbed 322 places since August 31, 2026. Links are still being earned (+59.2% in 12 months). On the reputation side: of the 6 most-watched videos whose transcripts I read, 5 are positive, 1 is mixed and none is negative. YouTube's small, mostly affiliate set praises Nastia's customisation and free plan, disagrees with itself about voice, and only the one unscripted walkthrough noticed the slow replies and the token meter. Reddit's Nastia community is refugees from filtered apps who accept a less clever model, a token meter and a one-man company in exchange for the last platform with no restrictions, and they are honest about every part of that trade.
What I expect
With demand, traffic and links moving the same way, I expect Nastia to keep gaining ground over the next few months. The thing that would change my mind is a month-on-month drop that repeats, which is why I refresh these figures monthly. 5 of its 8 closest search rivals currently get more US search traffic than it does, which is the gap to watch.

What I will check next month
- Whether September 2026’s traffic figure held, rose or fell once the next month is in.
- Whether US brand searches move out of the 27.1K band they have sat in.
- Whether the Tranco rank keeps the direction it showed over the last 30 days.
- Whether the rival names rising next to it in Google Trends (ourdream ai, ourdream, darlink) keep climbing while its own searches hold.

Part 7 · Method
How I measured all this
I bought a Nastia membership and tested it myself, and I come at the write-up as a data researcher. Everything on this page is measured, because the whole point of this site is to rank AI girlfriend platforms by real usage and interest rather than by anyone’s taste, and every brand page uses the same indicators in the same order so they can be compared. I pulled every figure on October 7, 2026.
- Traffic, keywords, backlinks, competitors, WHOIS
- From DataForSEO, refreshed monthly. “Organic traffic” is an estimate of visits from Google results, modelled from the keywords a site ranks for. It leaves out direct visits, app traffic, paid ads and social referrals, so the real audience is bigger; that is why I also show an all-traffic popularity rank.
- Brand search volume
- Google Ads keyword data via DataForSEO. Google rounds these into bands, which is why months often repeat the same figure.
- Domain Rating
- Domain Rating by Ahrefs, a 100-point measure of backlink strength, published under Ahrefs’ Domain Rating license. The DataForSEO domain rank is a separate 100-point backlink score.
- Popularity rank
- The Tranco list, an academic ranking of the top million domains built from DNS and browser data; a rank, not a visit count. The Chrome UX Report tier is Google's own popularity bucket from real Chrome users.
- Trends, videos, forums, press, search suggestions
- Google Trends is relative interest on a 0 to 100 scale, not a count. News, YouTube, Reddit and autocomplete data come through SerpApi from public Google and YouTube results; video views are summed across the videos I found. For the most-watched videos I also pull the caption transcript through SerpApi, read it in full, and write a short account of what the video says plus my own conclusion; videos without captions are listed by title only. For Reddit I read each thread Google surfaces directly from reddit.com in a browser, record its upvotes, comment count and top comments as they stood that day, screenshot the post as it is publicly visible, and classify it after reading; threads with no analysis yet are listed by title. Press articles are read in full and classified the same way; pages that block automated readers are marked as unread. The category search check is a live Google result for the category's own term (United States, desktop) via DataForSEO. Discord counts come from the server's public invite page.
- Hands-on testing
- I purchased a Nastia membership and used the product myself: chat, memory, images and the paid extras. My own test tells me what each feature does; the verdict on each feature comes from what users publish, because for a brand this size their view is more grounded than one reviewer's.
- Rounding and independence
- Figures are rounded for display; charts show the exact values. Top AI Girlfriends is not affiliated with DataForSEO, Ahrefs, SerpApi, Google, or Nastia.
Part 8 · Final verdict
One last word on Nastia
Nastia is the last unrestricted companion platform with a community, and the numbers show people arriving for exactly that reason. It holds the #1 spot for 'ai sexting', sits #35 of the AI girlfriend sites I track, and its brand searches rose 50% in a year as Kindroid's monitoring sent its hardliners here. The users say what I found: no filter on words or images, the deepest personality editor in the category, editing and reroll tools that let you train a companion, a pinned memories panel, and a free plan generous enough to decide on.
The trade-off is polish for freedom, and it is a real trade. The model is a step behind Nomi and Kindroid on intelligence, new companions behave strangely until you spend a few days shaping them, images cost tokens and fail on hands and explicit poses, voice is messages only with no calls, and the whole company is one developer who went quiet for a week in 2025. Reddit is honest about every one of those, and so is the press.
Who should pick it: someone who wants no restrictions and is willing to write a backstory, edit early replies and pin what matters, who values privacy over polish, and who will pay monthly rather than yearly. Who should not: anyone who wants a companion that is clever out of the box, voice calls, reliable images without a token meter, a preset character to start from, or the reassurance of a company bigger than one person.
Where it stands today: growing on my scorecard, with a brand that has earned its audience through other platforms' mistakes and a traffic line that has outrun it by ranking for rival names. The verdict holds as long as brand searches keep pace; it weakens if they keep sliding from the July peak while the long-tail pages carry the total, and it changes outright the day the developer stops answering, which is the one risk no feature on this page can offset.
