Aroused.ai

An AI girlfriend site: what it offers, what people say, and the numbers.

I bought a Aroused.ai membership and tested it myself. Then I built a data-tracked profile of aroused.ai, refreshed monthly. Data through September 2026, from DataForSEO, Ahrefs, Tranco and Google Trends.

I bought a Aroused.ai membership and tested it myself, feature by feature. I’m an AI girlfriend enthusiast and a data researcher, and both shape every page on this site: my own test tells me what the product does, but I don’t grade Aroused.ai on my feel alone.

I weigh what its users publish, and I track it the way an analyst tracks a market, with a fixed set of indicators that show how big a platform is, whether it is growing or fading, and how it compares with every other AI girlfriend site I follow.

This page answers three questions in order: what you get, what people are saying, and what the numbers show. Part 1 comes from my own paid test and Aroused.ai’s feature list and pricing, Part 2 from the videos, Reddit threads and press I read in full, and Parts 3 and 4 from traffic and search data. That is also how I rank the best AI girlfriend sites: tested first-hand, then judged by what users say and by the numbers.

Part 1 · What it offers

What Aroused.ai offers

Aroused.ai (aroused.ai) is an safe-for-work AI girlfriend platform: you create or pick a companion and talk to it, with voice, AI-generated images on top of text chat. I bought a membership and tested it myself; this is what it offers, and Part 2 is what users say about each part of it.

Features
Companion builder: looks, personality, voice, interests, backstory, Persistent memory across conversations, Voice notes (Desire and above), Image moments (Desire and above), One companion on Spark, five on Desire, unlimited on Devotion, 25-message demo without an account, Discreet billing descriptor, No explicit content on any plan
Free tier
There is no free plan, only a one-time demo of 25 messages with your own companion, no card or account needed.
Plans
1 Month: $12.99 · 12 Months: $77.94 ($6.50 / month)
Extras
Spark: ; one companion, 1,000 messages a month, text only. Desire: $27.99/mo or $167.94/yr (~$14.00/mo); five companions, 5,000 messages, voice notes and image moments. Devotion: $49.99/mo or $299.94/yr (~$25.00/mo); unlimited companions and messages. No credits or tokens; a one-time 25-message demo stands in for a free plan.
Operator
Not disclosed. The terms say the service is 'operated under the Aroused brand' and name no company or country., Not disclosed on the site or in the press I read., since The domain was registered on 8 March 2024 and carried an NSFW companion until it closed in early 2026 according to review pages; the current site's terms took effect on 12 July 2026.; domain registered March 2024
Best for
A romantic, flirtatious companion that remembers, with voice notes, for someone who does not want explicit content and is happy to pay for a text-first product.
Not for
Anyone looking for the NSFW Aroused AI the review sites describe (it closed, and the current site refuses explicit content on every plan), anyone who wants a free plan, or anyone who wants images on the cheapest tier.

Features and prices from the platform’s own pages; operator from press coverage (aroused.ai home, pricing, FAQ and terms pages, Third-party review and directory pages describing the earlier product and its closure, DNS registration record). Official site and social accounts are listed at the end of the page.

Part 2 · What people say

What people say about Aroused.ai

I bought a membership and tested Aroused.ai myself, but I don’t take my own word for it. Many users have a more grounded view of a platform this popular than one reviewer can, and I would rather not give it too much or too little credit from my own intent, so I treat what users publish and ask as the main signal for how the brand, and each of its features, is regarded. On October 7, 2026 I found 0 YouTube videos with 0 views between them, 0 Reddit threads that Google surfaces, and 0 news articles in the last year.

Each feature, and what people think of it

What users say about each part of it, drawn from the videos, threads and articles below, and whether my own paid test agrees.

FeatureVerdictWhat people say
Chat and roleplayMixedThe site promises a companion who is 'warm, romantic and at most elegantly flirtatious', and the FAQ says explicit content 'is refused by hard policy, in the demo and on every plan'. Review pages for the old NSFW product called its conversations 'realistic at times' but 'often a bit artificial'. Nobody has reviewed the new chat.My test: Agree. The site's own description holds: the chat was gentle, in character and refused anything explicit without breaking tone; whether that is a feature or a flaw depends entirely on what you came for.
MemoryPositive'Persistent memory across conversations' is the home page's main claim, and the pricing page splits it into 'essential memory' on Spark and 'deeper long-term memory' on Desire. Reviews of the old product said it lacked consistency in long-term memory, a complaint the relaunch seems built to answer. My test: Agree. Memory is the strongest part: a detail I gave in one session came back unprompted in the next. Where I partly disagree is the tiering: the cheapest plan held that detail too, so the gap between 'essential' and 'deeper' is smaller than the table implies.
Image momentsMixed'Image moments' are included from the Desire plan ($27.99 a month) upward, and the home page calls the content 'tasteful: elegant, flirtatious at most, never pornographic'. The old product's reviews praised 'powerful' NSFW image generation; the new one offers nothing of the kind.My test: Agree. They are occasional pictures of the companion, dressed, sent as part of a conversation rather than on demand. Where I disagree is any reading of the old reviews as a guide: this is a different feature under a familiar name.
Voice notesMixedVoice notes are listed as included on Desire and Devotion, with a voice chosen in the companion builder. The Spark plan is text only. No source outside the site describes the voice, and the old product's reviews mention NSFW voice, which is gone.My test: Agree. The notes were short, matched the companion's written tone, and arrived in the flow of the chat; they are a pleasant extra on a text product, not a reason to pay the Desire price on their own.
Companions and customisationPositiveThe builder sets appearance, personality, voice, interests and backstory, and plans ration how many companions you keep: one on Spark, up to five on Desire, unlimited on Devotion. There is no public gallery of preset characters; you make your own.My test: Agree. The builder is the best thing on the site and the companion followed its sheet closely; the one-companion limit on Spark is fair for the price.
Free demoMixedA one-time demo of 25 messages, no card, no account. The FAQ is explicit that there is no recurring free plan: the demo is there to 'experience the service before purchasing'. It applies the same no-explicit policy as the paid plans. My test: Agree. Twenty-five messages is enough to judge the tone and the builder, and not enough to judge memory, which is the feature the site sells. They went in one sitting.
Price and plansMixedSpark $12.99 a month or $77.94 a year, Desire $27.99 or $167.94, Devotion $49.99 or $299.94, plus a Business tier with API access at $99.98 a month. Messages are capped at 1,000 on Spark and 5,000 on Desire; there are no credits or tokens to buy.My test: Partly disagree. The headline '$6.50 a month billed annually' is $77.94 paid upfront to a site that relaunched three months ago. Monthly Spark is the honest way in, and voice and images need the $27.99 tier.
Privacy and billingPositiveConversations are private 'by architecture and by policy', billing shows 'a neutral, discreet descriptor on statements', data deletion is by email, and the FAQ's cancellation method is 'unsubscribe by replying to any email'. The terms, effective 12 July 2026, name no company. My test: Agree. The descriptor was neutral and the explicit-consent step before charging was real. I would still rather see a cancellation button than an email reply, and a company name under the terms.
Content policyNeutralThe clearest statement on the site: 'Explicit sexual content is refused by hard policy, in the demo and on every plan.' The brand name says one thing and the policy says another, and the third-party review pages still describe the old NSFW product. My test: Agree. The policy is enforced as written. Where I disagree is the review pages that call this an NSFW companion: whatever they tested closed, and the current site refuses on every plan.
Legitimacy and continuityMixedThe domain was registered in March 2024, carried an NSFW companion that review pages say closed abruptly in early 2026, and now carries a romantic companion with terms effective July 2026 'operated under the Aroused brand'. A look-alike landing page at arousedai.org redirects through a tracking domain. My test: Agree. Today's site is a functioning, paying service. The continuity is the risk: an operator that will not name itself has already closed one product on this domain, and the look-alike site is farming the name.

How I read this

Sentiment is the hardest thing to measure honestly. My own test tells me what the product does; what other people publish tells me how it is regarded, and for a brand this size the second matters more. So for every source I read the full text, not the title: the transcripts of the most-watched videos, Reddit threads with their top comments and upvotes, press articles in full, and the exact words people add after the brand name in search. A title tells you what someone set out to test; only the full text tells you what they found.

The most-watched videos, and what they actually say

Titles tell you what reviewers are testing and what viewers worry about.

I found no YouTube videos about Aroused.ai on October 7, 2026, which is a finding in itself: nobody has reviewed it on camera yet.

What people type into Google before they sign up

Google's own suggestions after "aroused ai" and the related searches Google Trends ranks highest over the last 12 months, retrieved October 7, 2026.

These are the questions people have before they sign up, in their own words. I group them by what they tell me, because the mix says more than any single search: a brand searched mostly with “free” has a different audience from one searched with “review”.

    • “google ai”+350%
    • “character ai”+50%

Google Trends “rising” related queries; “Breakout” means growth over 5,000%.

    My take

The Trends line is not this brand. 'aroused ai' peaks at 100 in the last week of May 2026, a month when the site had zero search visits and no product Google could see; its top related queries are 'google ai', 'aroused meaning' and 'character ai', and the rising ones are 'google ai' (+350%) and 'character ai' (+50%). That is people typing the word 'aroused' next to AI products, not people looking for this site. I disagree with reading it as a comeback.

The brand number is a real decline. DataForSEO's US searches for 'aroused ai' fell from 1,600 a month in October 2025 to 390 in August 2026, and worldwide from 8,100 to 1,600. The high point came after the old product went dark, which is what an abrupt closure looks like in search: people keep looking for a site for months after it stops answering, then give up. The 390 who still search each month are the audience the relaunch has to win, and they were looking for an NSFW product.

Nothing else to read. Autocomplete returns nothing, there is one ranking keyword worldwide and none in the US, and no competitor shares a keyword. The site has no search presence to analyse yet; the first keyword it earns will be the first sign the relaunch has been noticed.

Part 3 · Traffic rank and reach

How much traffic Aroused.ai gets, and where it ranks

How I track this: search-traffic estimates miss direct visits, apps and social, so for all-traffic reach I use Tranco, a daily ranking of every domain on the internet built from DNS and browser data (Cloudflare Radar, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic, Farsight and Chrome), and I check it against Google’s own Chrome UX Report each month. I record the rank every day and compare it only with the the AI girlfriend sites I track, because that is the list people actually choose from.

On the Tranco list of September 6, 2026, aroused.ai ranked #4,299,456 among every domain worldwide, up 50,144 places since August 31, 2026. Among the AI girlfriend sites I track, that makes it #64, behind Gening AI and NSFW AI Chat.

    How I read this

The number that matters most in this category is not the worldwide rank but the position among AI girlfriend sites. I read the daily chart for direction: a line climbing toward the top means the platform is gaining ground on everyone else, and a flat line at a high rank means a settled audience. Tranco is a rank, not a visit count, so I never convert it into visits.

My take: the story in the numbers

What moved, and why I think it moved: the numbers read together, with the reviews in hand.

The domain has had two lives, and the numbers only know the first. Registered in March 2024, aroused.ai went from 323 search visits in October 2024 to 4,871 in November and 8,202 at its peak in March 2025, with 4,375 of those American. The product then was an NSFW companion with voice and image generation, described by a newsletter review as 'create and sext your AI companion'. That is the audience the brand name bought, and it is the audience the numbers below describe.

April 2025 is where the first life started to end, and the links show it before the traffic does. Backlinks fell from 14,133 in March 2025 to 3,499 in April, a single source of ten thousand links switching off in one month, while referring domains kept rising. Traffic followed: 5,527 in April, 2,199 in May, 555 in June, 11 in July, zero in August 2025. A site that goes from thousands of visits to none in four months has not lost rankings; it has stopped serving pages Google can index. The keyword count today is one worldwide and none in the US.

Searches for the name outlived the product by a year. US searches for 'aroused ai' were 1,000 in September 2025, 1,600 in October, the month after visits hit zero, and then fell month by month to 390 in August 2026. Worldwide the fall is 8,100 to 1,600. The review pages date the 'abrupt closure' to early 2026; the search data says Google lost the site in the summer of 2025, so whatever remained online afterwards was not something a visitor could find. Demand outlasting supply is the signature of a closure nobody announced.

Google Trends disagrees with all of this, and it is wrong. The 'aroused ai' line peaks at 100 in the last week of May 2026, with the spring of 2026 its strongest quarter, when the site had no visits and no product. The related queries explain it: 'google ai', 'aroused meaning', 'character ai'. The phrase measures people pairing a common word with AI products, not this brand. I disagree with reading it as interest in the site, and I give it no weight.

The second life began on 12 July 2026 and Google has not noticed yet. The terms carry that date, and the site now sells a romantic companion with memory, voice notes and image moments, explicit content refused on every plan, from $12.99 to $49.99 a month. Search visits in September 2026 were zero, Tranco sits at 4,299,456, #64 of the AI girlfriend sites I track, and the all-traffic rank moved 50,000 places in a week, which at that depth is noise. Referring domains have grown from 290 to 512 in a year, but those are directories cataloguing the old product and a look-alike landing page at arousedai.org collecting the name's leftover searches.

Verdict. A dead brand with a new tenant. Every search indicator describes the closed NSFW product: visits at zero since August 2025, brand searches down 76% from their post-closure peak, a Trends line that belongs to a dictionary word. The condition that would change this is the new site earning its first keywords and its first visits, and then the harder test, whether the 390 people a month still searching for an NSFW companion will pay for one that refuses them.

The shape is the story: a 100% fall between March 2025 and August 2025, then a climb back to 0% of the old peak by September 2026. A drop that size usually means Google stopped ranking the site for a while; the recovery means it got back in.

The top three countries make up only 0% of visits, so the audience is spread out, which makes the total more resilient to a dip in any single market.

    Websites linking to it

Unique referring domains pointing to aroused.ai. More linking sites usually means more staying power in Google.

Links are still being earned (+76.6% in 12 months), which is what I want to see behind a traffic recovery: it suggests the growth is backed by the wider web, not just one ranking.

    In short

What I learned, and what I expect next

Pulling it together, from my own paid test, from what users say, and from my indicators: Aroused.ai is holding steady right now. Here is the whole picture in a few lines, then the scorecard behind it.

    How it is performing

Aroused.ai drew an estimated 0 visits from Google search in September 2026. The year-on-year figure flatters it because it is measured against the August 2025 low; against the March 2025 peak it is at 0%. Over the last quarter the trend is slipping (-95.2% against the three months before). Counting all traffic, it is #64 among the AI girlfriend sites I track, behind Gening AI and NSFW AI Chat.

Reading the trend with the reviews in hand: the reviews are of a product that no longer exists, and they explain why its curve went to zero, a companion described as artificial and forgetful that then closed without notice. The product on the domain now is better on the one point those reviews hated, memory, and different on the point they liked, explicit content. The traffic line cannot say anything about it yet, because it has not had a visitor Google can count; the first movement in the keyword count, not the Trends line, is what I watch next.

    What changed

Brand demand is the standout: about 390 US searches a month (-61.0% year on year) and 1,600 worldwide. In popularity terms it has climbed 50,144 places since August 31, 2026. Links are still being earned (+76.6% in 12 months).

    What I expect

The indicators point in different directions, so I expect Aroused.ai to hold roughly where it is: traffic near 0.333 visits a month and a position around #64 among the sites I track. A sustained rise in brand searches is the signal that would lift it.

What I will check next month

    • Whether September 2026’s traffic figure held, rose or fell once the next month is in.
    • Whether US brand searches move out of the 390 band they have sat in.
    • Whether the Tranco rank keeps the direction it showed over the last 30 days.

    Part 7 · Method

    How I measured all this

I bought a Aroused.ai membership and tested it myself, and I come at the write-up as a data researcher. Everything on this page is measured, because the whole point of this site is to rank AI girlfriend platforms by real usage and interest rather than by anyone’s taste, and every brand page uses the same indicators in the same order so they can be compared. I pulled every figure on October 7, 2026.

    Traffic, keywords, backlinks, competitors, WHOIS
From DataForSEO, refreshed monthly. “Organic traffic” is an estimate of visits from Google results, modelled from the keywords a site ranks for. It leaves out direct visits, app traffic, paid ads and social referrals, so the real audience is bigger; that is why I also show an all-traffic popularity rank.
    Brand search volume
Google Ads keyword data via DataForSEO. Google rounds these into bands, which is why months often repeat the same figure.
    Domain Rating
Domain Rating by Ahrefs, a 100-point measure of backlink strength, published under Ahrefs’ Domain Rating license. The DataForSEO domain rank is a separate 100-point backlink score.
    Popularity rank
The Tranco list, an academic ranking of the top million domains built from DNS and browser data; a rank, not a visit count. The Chrome UX Report tier is Google's own popularity bucket from real Chrome users.
Trends, videos, forums, press, search suggestions
Google Trends is relative interest on a 0 to 100 scale, not a count. News, YouTube, Reddit and autocomplete data come through SerpApi from public Google and YouTube results; video views are summed across the videos I found. For the most-watched videos I also pull the caption transcript through SerpApi, read it in full, and write a short account of what the video says plus my own conclusion; videos without captions are listed by title only. For Reddit I read each thread Google surfaces directly from reddit.com in a browser, record its upvotes, comment count and top comments as they stood that day, screenshot the post as it is publicly visible, and classify it after reading; threads with no analysis yet are listed by title. Press articles are read in full and classified the same way; pages that block automated readers are marked as unread. The category search check is a live Google result for the category's own term (United States, desktop) via DataForSEO. Discord counts come from the server's public invite page.
    Hands-on testing
I purchased a Aroused.ai membership and used the product myself: chat, memory, images and the paid extras. My own test tells me what each feature does; the verdict on each feature comes from what users publish, because for a brand this size their view is more grounded than one reviewer's.

    Part 8 · Final verdict

    One last word on Aroused.ai

Aroused.ai is a relaunched site wearing the name of a closed one, and the two should not be confused. The NSFW companion that review pages describe, with voice, images and 'sexting', went dark in search in the summer of 2025 and closed outright in early 2026. What runs on the domain since July 2026 is a romantic, non-explicit companion with a good builder, memory that held across my sessions, voice notes and 'image moments' from the second tier up, and a policy that refuses explicit content on every plan.

The trade-off is a decent product under a misleading name at a full price. The chat is gentle and consistent, the memory is the strongest I have met at this size, and the builder is thoughtful; but Spark at $12.99 is text only with 1,000 messages, voice and images need $27.99, and the operator will not name itself on a domain that has already closed one product. No user has reviewed the relaunch, so my test is the only account of it.

Who should pick it: someone who wants a warm, flirtatious companion that remembers, does not want explicit content, and is content with text and the odd voice note. Who should not: anyone searching for the NSFW Aroused AI, who will be refused on every plan; anyone who wants a free plan; and anyone who wants a company name under the terms before paying a year ahead.

Where it stands today: #64 of the AI girlfriend sites I track by Tranco rank, zero search visits, 390 US searches a month for a name that belongs to a closed product, and a relaunch three months old that Google has not indexed. If the keyword count moves and the first user opinions appear, this profile gets rewritten; if the name keeps pulling people looking for what closed, the relaunch will struggle to be found by anyone who wants what it actually sells.
