I bought a AIGirlfriend membership and tested it myself, feature by feature. I’m an AI girlfriend enthusiast and a data researcher, and both shape every page on this site: my own test tells me what the product does, but I don’t grade AIGirlfriend on my feel alone.

I weigh what its users publish, and I track it the way an analyst tracks a market, with a fixed set of indicators that show how big a platform is, whether it is growing or fading, and how it compares with every other AI girlfriend site I follow.

This page answers three questions in order: what you get, what people are saying, and what the numbers show. I bought a membership and tested AIGirlfriend myself, but I don’t take my own word for it. Many users have a more grounded view of a platform this popular than one reviewer can, and I would rather not give it too much or too little credit from my own intent, so I treat what users publish and ask as the main signal for how the brand, and each of its features, is regarded. On October 7, 2026 I found 0 YouTube videos with 0 views between them, 0 Reddit threads that Google surfaces, and 0 news articles in the last year.

There is no description of length, style or quality anywhere on the site, and no user has posted one.My test: Agree. How I read this

Sentiment is the hardest thing to measure honestly. My own test tells me what the product does; what other people publish tells me how it is regarded, and for a brand this size the second matters more. So for every source I read the full text, not the title: the transcripts of the most-watched videos, Reddit threads with their top comments and upvotes, press articles in full, and the exact words people add after the brand name in search. A title tells you what someone set out to test; only the full text tells you what they found.

    How I track this: search-traffic estimates miss direct visits, apps and social, so for all-traffic reach I use Tranco, a daily ranking of every domain on the internet built from DNS and browser data (Cloudflare Radar, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic, Farsight and Chrome), and I check it against Google’s own Chrome UX Report each month. I record the rank every day and compare it only with the the AI girlfriend sites I track, because that is the list people actually choose from.

    How I read this

    The number that matters most in this category is not the worldwide rank but the position among AI girlfriend sites. I read the daily chart for direction: a line climbing toward the top means the platform is gaining ground on everyone else, and a flat line at a high rank means a settled audience. Tranco is a rank, not a visit count, so I never convert it into visits.

    My take: the story in the numbers

    What moved, and why I think it moved: the numbers read together, with the reviews in hand.

    This is a twelve-year-old domain that was empty until last year. aigirlfriend.com was registered in December 2013, yet in October 2024 it had 13 backlinks, nine referring domains and a DataForSEO domain rank of 1. Someone bought the name and built on it over the winter: traffic appears in January 2025 (41 visits), referring domains climb from 9 to 122 by February, and the domain rank goes from 1 to 43 in four months. The age of the domain is the only inheritance; the history starts in 2025.

    February 2025 is the month to look at, and it is a link event. Backlinks went from 156 in January to 4,019 in February 2025, a 25-fold jump in a month, while referring domains rose by 62. Four thousand links from sixty-odd sites is a sitewide placement, a footer or sidebar link on a few multi-page sites, not coverage. Google rewarded it for a quarter: traffic ran 3,071 in April and 8,541 in May 2025, the all-time peak, then fell to 657 in July. That is the shape of a ranking that was bought, used, and reassessed.

    Since then the line has been a slow leak. Visits settled around 400 to 650 a month through the winter of 2025, slipped to about 315 in the spring of 2026, and reached 158 in September 2026, down 50% on August and 58% on the year. US visits are 39. The brand's own number, 22,200 US searches a month for 'aigirlfriend', is the category term's close-variant volume, not demand for this site; I give it no weight, and the fact that the site is absent from the top 20 for 'ai girlfriend' says Google gives it none either.

    September 2026 shows something new: referring domains jumped from 381 to 554 in one month, a 45% rise, while backlinks stayed flat at 4,036. That pattern, many new sites each linking once, matches two things that started in September: a blog that published nine posts in three weeks, and an affiliate programme on Rewardful whose partners link to the site to earn commission. It is the first growth signal in a year, and it is a marketing signal, not a user one.

    The all-traffic view agrees that the site is small and not shrinking. Tranco improved from 4,204,232 on 17 September to 3,863,910 on 6 October, which at that depth is noise but is at least not falling, and it ranks #61 of the AI girlfriend sites I track. Traffic by country puts India level with the United States (40 and 37 visits), which for an English-language adult site priced in dollars says the visitors Google sends are not the customers the site is built for.

    Verdict. Declining in search, flat in reach, and just starting to market itself. There are no users on record to explain any of it, so the reading rests on the numbers: a purchased domain, a link-driven spike in spring 2025, a slow leak since, and a September link surge that is the blog and the affiliates rather than readers. The condition that would change the verdict is the blog ranking for the category it is written about; I will know by the end of the year.

      How it is performing

      AIGirlfriend drew an estimated 158 visits from Google search in September 2026, -50.0% on August 2026 and -58.0% on a year earlier. Over the last quarter the trend is slipping (-23.1% against the three months before). Counting all traffic, it is #61 among the AI girlfriend sites I track, behind Angel.ai and HeyReal.

      Reading the trend with the reviews in hand: there are no reviews, so the product has to stand in for them. What I found, a good preset roster, voice notes that work, a free tier that lets you talk and call without paying, is the kind of product that earns word of mouth slowly, and the site has none yet because its name cannot be searched or recommended without confusion. The traffic line is a link story so far; whether it becomes a user story depends on the blog and the affiliates it started in September, and on whether the Gold economy for photos sends the first paying users away before they say anything.

      What changed

      Brand demand is the standout: about 22,200 US searches a month (+50.0% year on year) and 74,000 worldwide. People search for the brand more than a year ago, but that interest is not fully turning into search visits yet, so there is room to grow if the site keeps ranking. In popularity terms it has climbed 340,322 places since September 17, 2026. Links are still being earned (+93.7% in 12 months).

      What I expect

      The indicators point in different directions, so I expect AIGirlfriend to hold roughly where it is: traffic near 262.333 visits a month and a position around #61 among the sites I track. A sustained rise in brand searches is the signal that would lift it. 8 of its 8 closest search rivals currently get more US search traffic than it does, which is the gap to watch.

      Part 7 · Method

      How I measured all this

      I bought a AIGirlfriend membership and tested it myself, and I come at the write-up as a data researcher. Everything on this page is measured, because the whole point of this site is to rank AI girlfriend platforms by real usage and interest rather than by anyone’s taste, and every brand page uses the same indicators in the same order so they can be compared. I pulled every figure on October 7, 2026.

      Traffic, keywords, backlinks, competitors, WHOIS
      From DataForSEO, refreshed monthly. “Organic traffic” is an estimate of visits from Google results, modelled from the keywords a site ranks for. It leaves out direct visits, app traffic, paid ads and social referrals, so the real audience is bigger; that is why I also show an all-traffic popularity rank.
      Brand search volume
      Google Ads keyword data via DataForSEO. Google rounds these into bands, which is why months often repeat the same figure.
      Domain Rating
      Domain Rating by Ahrefs, a 100-point measure of backlink strength, published under Ahrefs’ Domain Rating license. The DataForSEO domain rank is a separate 100-point backlink score.
      Popularity rank
      The Tranco list, an academic ranking of the top million domains built from DNS and browser data; a rank, not a visit count. The Chrome UX Report tier is Google's own popularity bucket from real Chrome users.
      Trends, videos, forums, press, search suggestions
      Google Trends is relative interest on a 0 to 100 scale, not a count. News, YouTube, Reddit and autocomplete data come through SerpApi from public Google and YouTube results; video views are summed across the videos I found. For the most-watched videos I also pull the caption transcript through SerpApi, read it in full, and write a short account of what the video says plus my own conclusion; videos without captions are listed by title only. For Reddit I read each thread Google surfaces directly from reddit.com in a browser, record its upvotes, comment count and top comments as they stood that day, screenshot the post as it is publicly visible, and classify it after reading; threads with no analysis yet are listed by title. Press articles are read in full and classified the same way; pages that block automated readers are marked as unread. The category search check is a live Google result for the category's own term (United States, desktop) via DataForSEO. Discord counts come from the server's public invite page.
      Hands-on testing
      I purchased a AIGirlfriend membership and used the product myself: chat, memory, images and the paid extras. My own test tells me what each feature does; the verdict on each feature comes from what users publish, because for a brand this size their view is more grounded than one reviewer's.
      Rounding and independence
      Figures are rounded for display; charts show the exact values. Top AI Girlfriends is not affiliated with DataForSEO, Ahrefs, SerpApi, Google, or AIGirlfriend.

      Part 8 · Final verdict

      One last word on AIGirlfriend

      AIGirlfriend is a competent, unreviewed site on a name that works against it. Nobody has filmed it, written about it or mentioned it on Reddit; every claim on this page is the site's own or mine. What the site offers is better than its silence suggests: a well-written roster of 50-plus characters, custom creation, voice notes in both directions, 30 free minutes of calls a month, and unlimited free text chat, which is more than the category leaders give away.

      The trade-off is that the subscription buys words and the pictures are a second bill. Premium at $12.99 covers chat and voice and 100 Gold; photos cost 4 Gold and videos 50, so the monthly allowance is 25 pictures or two clips, and the Gold packs run to $299.99. Anyone who comes for images will find the real price on the Gold page, not the subscription page. The '$3.99 a month' headline is $47.88 upfront, and I would not pay a year ahead on a site with no track record.

      Who should pick it: someone who wants to talk and listen more than look, who values a free tier that actually lets them try the voice, and who likes the anonymity of a neutral billing descriptor. Who should not: anyone who wants pictures as the main event, anyone who needs reviews before paying, and anyone who wants a named company behind the 'DBA' in Delaware.

      Where it stands today: #61 of the AI girlfriend sites I track by Tranco rank, 158 search visits a month and falling, a brand number that belongs to the category rather than the brand, and a blog and affiliate programme three weeks old. If the blog starts ranking for the category it writes about and the first user opinions appear, this profile gets rewritten; until then it is a small, honest product nobody has noticed.
