Fantasy.ai
An AI girlfriend site: what it offers, what people say, and the numbers.
I bought a Fantasy.ai membership and tested it myself. Then I built a data-tracked profile of fantasy.ai, refreshed monthly. Data through September 2026, from DataForSEO, Ahrefs, Tranco and Google Trends.

I bought a Fantasy.ai membership and tested it myself, feature by feature. I’m an AI girlfriend enthusiast and a data researcher, and both shape every page on this site: my own test tells me what the product does, but I don’t grade Fantasy.ai on my feel alone.
I weigh what its users publish, and I track it the way an analyst tracks a market, with a fixed set of indicators that show how big a platform is, whether it is growing or fading, and how it compares with every other AI girlfriend site I follow.
This page answers three questions in order: what you get, what people are saying, and what the numbers show. Part 1 comes from my own paid test and Fantasy.ai’s feature list and pricing, Part 2 from the videos, Reddit threads and press I read in full, and Parts 3 and 4 from traffic and search data. That is also how I rank the best AI girlfriend sites: tested first-hand, then judged by what users say and by the numbers.
Part 1 · What it offers
What Fantasy.ai offers
Fantasy.ai (fantasy.ai) is an adult AI girlfriend platform: you create or pick a companion and talk to it, with voice, AI-generated images, video on top of text chat. I bought a membership and tested it myself; this is what it offers, and Part 2 is what users say about each part of it.
- Features
- AI girlfriend and boyfriend chat, NSFW image generation, Voice messages and voice calls, Short video clips, Custom companion creation (5 tokens), AI versions of real models and creators, Free Mode funded by watching ads, Same engine as sister site DreamGF
- Free tier
- A 'Free Mode' funded by watching ads: up to 100 tokens a day can be claimed, standard companions cost 0.1 tokens a message, images, videos and chats with AI versions of real models cost more.
- Plans
- 1 Month: $7.99 · 3 Months: $29.97 · 12 Months: $69.99
- Extras
- for the first month, then $14.99. for the first quarter (~$9.99/mo), then $38 (~$12.67/mo). for the first year (~$5.83/mo), then $155.88 (~$12.99/mo). 7-day trial: $5.99, converting to $14.99 a month. Every plan includes 200 tokens a month; messages, images, videos and voice draw on tokens, custom characters cost 5 tokens, and chats with AI versions of real models cost at least 2 tokens a message against 0.1 for standard companions. Prices from the site's plans page, October 2026.
- Operator
- DreamAI SRL (the same company, registration and Bucharest address as DreamGF; fantasy.ai is DreamGF's sister site), Bucharest, Romania, since Not disclosed on the site. The domain dates from December 2017, ran as a Stable Diffusion model marketplace in early 2023, and was operating as DreamAI's companion site by the time my traffic series begins in October 2024.; domain registered December 2017
- Best for
- Someone who wants the DreamGF engine with chats modelled on real creators, will use Free Mode or the discounted first year, and will watch the token meter
- Not for
- Anyone who wants video or reliable voice calls, a community to ask questions in, or a price that stays what it said on the sign-up page
Features and prices from the platform’s own pages; operator from press coverage (fantasy.ai plans page and site footer, dreamgf.ai footer, Trustpilot (three reviews and a company reply), Apple App Store listing for the unrelated 'Fantasy AI - Character Chat' app, checked to rule it out). Official site and social accounts are listed at the end of the page.
Part 2 · What people say
What people say about Fantasy.ai
I bought a membership and tested Fantasy.ai myself, but I don’t take my own word for it. Many users have a more grounded view of a platform this popular than one reviewer can, and I would rather not give it too much or too little credit from my own intent, so I treat what users publish and ask as the main signal for how the brand, and each of its features, is regarded. On October 7, 2026 I found 5 YouTube videos with 467,092 views between them, 4 Reddit threads that Google surfaces, and 11 news articles in the last year. I did not stop at the titles: I read 3 video transcripts (328 words), 4 threads with their top comments and 8 articles in full, and classified each one as positive, mixed, neutral or negative.
Favourability at a glance
Each item was classified after I read it, not from its title. A walkthrough or a passing mention counts as neutral.
| Source | Read | Pos.Positive | Mixed | Neut.Neutral | Neg.Negative | Fav.Favourable |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube videostranscripts read in full | 3 | 0 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0% |
| Reddit threadspost and top comments | 4 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0% |
| Press articlesread in full | 8 | 0 | 0 | 8 | 0 | 0% |
| All sources | 15 | 0 | 2 | 11 | 2 | 0% |
In one line: YouTube videos 0% positive, 0 negative of 3; Reddit threads 0% positive, 2 negative of 4; Press articles 0% positive, 0 negative of 8. The gap between YouTube videos and Press articles on one side and Reddit on the other is the main sentiment finding on this page, and the sections below explain it.
Each feature, and what people think of it
What users say about each part of it, drawn from the videos, threads and articles below, and whether my own paid test agrees.
| Feature | Verdict | What people say |
|---|---|---|
| Chat and roleplay | Positive | The two five-star Trustpilot reviews call the free-mode chat 'addictive' with 'hilarious, flirty' companions and say conversations 'feel so real' (2 of 3 reviews). No video or article tests it. The engine is shared with DreamGF, where reviewers praise chat that remembers and adapts, and the site's own copy promises real-time chat with a companion you design. My test: Agree. The chat is DreamGF's, and it is good at flirting and staying in character for a session; it is not better than the sister site, just the same product under a different name. |
| Memory | Mixed | No source on this site mentions memory at all. The sister site's reviewers praise chat that remembers what was discussed, and the plans page sells higher tiers on the same engine, so the only evidence is borrowed from DreamGF and from my own test.My test: Partly disagree with the borrowed praise. A detail held within a session in my test; by the next day the companion needed reminding, which is weaker than the sister site's reviews suggest and about par for the category. |
| Image generation | Positive | The homepage leads with an NSFW AI image generator, and both five-star reviews name image generation as a highlight (2 reviews). The one-star review's complaint is not quality but cost: images draw on the token meter, and unsolicited pictures from companions were charged for (1 review). The sister site's reviewers call its images fast and consistent. My test: Agree. Realistic images were quick and matched the character; the catch is that every picture costs tokens, and the 200 a month on a paid plan go fast if you let companions send them unasked. |
| Voice messages and calls | Mixed | One five-star review singles out 'impressive voice messages' (1 review); the plans page lists AI voice messages and calls as a feature. The sister site's reviewers found voice messages reliable and live calls the weakest part of the package. My test: Partly disagree with the review. Voice messages were clear and in character; live calls lagged and dropped in my month, exactly as on DreamGF, so 'impressive' applies to half the feature. |
| Video clips | Mixed | Videos exist and are token-priced: the company's own Trustpilot reply says video costs vary by clip, and the one-star review counts them among the hidden costs (1 reply, 1 review). No reviewer praises them.My test: Agree. Short clips, decent, and the most expensive thing on the meter; I would not pick this site for video. |
| Characters, customisation and 'AI versions of real models' | Mixed | You can build a companion from scratch, and the site also sells chats with AI versions of real models and OnlyFans creators, which cost more tokens per message 'depending on the popularity of the model' (site copy). The company reply confirms a two-token minimum per message on influencer models against 0.1 tokens on standard companions. Custom character creation costs five tokens. My test: Agree on the mechanics, and this is the feature that sets it apart from DreamGF. The influencer models are where the one-star reviewer's money went; standard companions are twenty times cheaper per message. |
| Free tier ('Free Mode') | Mixed | Free Mode runs on tokens earned by watching ads, up to 100 tokens a day, with standard companions at 0.1 tokens a message (company reply). One reviewer calls it addictive (1 review); the other says 'watch and earn' pays less than promised and support was poor (1 review). My test: Partly disagree with the one-star review. The daily claim does take many ad views spread through the day, but 0.1 tokens a message means a free user can chat a long time; it is images and influencer chats that drain it. |
| Price and tokens | Negative | The plans page shows $7.99 for the first month, renewing at $14.99; $29.97 for the first quarter, then $38; $69.99 for the first year, then $155.88; and a $5.99 seven-day trial that converts to $14.99 a month. Every plan carries 200 tokens a month. The one-star review's whole complaint is that the meter sits on top of the subscription (1 review). My test: Agree. The introductory prices are good and the renewals are not advertised anywhere near as loudly; 200 tokens covered my chat but not a month of images and voice, and the sister site's reviewers say the same about its 100. |
| Privacy and billing | Mixed | The operator is DreamAI SRL of Bucharest, the same company and address as DreamGF, which is at least a named, registered business. Billing is card through the site; every plan renews at a higher price than the first period, and the trial converts automatically. No source alleges a breach or a billing dispute beyond the token complaint. My test: Agree. The charge was discreet and cancelling was a settings toggle, but note the renewal price before you take the $7.99 month, because the $14.99 arrives without a reminder. |
| Safety and legitimacy | Mixed | Legitimate operator, 18+ gate, Trustpilot at 3.5 from three reviews with a company reply (my check). Against that, the domain's 2023 life as a model marketplace left it a bad name on r/StableDiffusion (4 threads), and the name is shared with an unrelated iOS app that was caught copying Character.AI bots (1 thread), which a newcomer could easily mistake for this site.My test: Disagree that the 2023 row should count against today's product: different business, same domain. Agree that the shared name is a real problem, because the iOS app Google's AI Overview cites is not this company. |
How I read this
The most-watched videos, and what they actually say
For each video I read the transcript, wrote down what it says, and added my own read on it. Most viewed first.
The Chronicles of Bone: The Last Assassin | Dark Fantasy AI FilmWhen Crowns Bleed · 5d ago · 32:59 · 240K viewsThis video has no captions, so I only have its title to go on.
Atlantis: Before All Was Lost | Fantasy AI Music VideoFantasy Allure AI · 4mo ago · 6:59 · 137K viewsNeutral, no verdict · what the video says
Not about this site. A seven-minute AI-generated music video about Atlantis from a channel called Fantasy Allure AI, with 137,469 views and a transcript that is forty-three words of 'heat' and 'hey' from the vocal track. There is no app, no chat and no mention of fantasy.ai anywhere in it; 'Fantasy AI' in the title is a genre label for AI-made fantasy art, the same way the top result in this set, a 33-minute 'Dark Fantasy AI Film' with 239,506 views, uses it. The three videos from this channel account for 220,000 of the 467,092 combined views in the set.
My read: Zero weight for the product, but it shows what the brand keyword means on YouTube. Searching 'fantasy ai' returns AI cinema, not AI girlfriends, so any reviewer who tests this site will be filed under 'ai girlfriend' or 'dreamgf' rather than under the brand name. I found no hands-on video of the site under any of those.
Triton's Realm: Mermaid World Beneath the Sea | Fantasy AI Short FilmFantasy Allure AI · 2mo ago · 7:05 · 76.8K viewsNeutral, no verdict · what the video says
Not about this site. 'Triton's Realm', a seven-minute AI-generated mermaid short from the same Fantasy Allure AI channel, 76,822 views, with a transcript of twenty-six words of vocal filler. Like the rest of the set it uses 'Fantasy AI' to mean fantasy imagery made with AI video tools, and it says nothing about chat, companions, pricing or the domain. It is here because the discovery step matched the title, not because anyone reviewed the product.
My read: Nothing to agree or disagree with. The useful fact is the audience: hundreds of thousands of people watch AI fantasy films under this phrase every month, which is why the brand's 'fantasy ai' search series swings with things that have nothing to do with it. I read the search numbers below with that in mind.
GrailFall: The Last King of Embers | Dark Fantasy AI ArtDrSadek AI · 11mo ago · 2:03 · 7.2K viewsThis video has no captions, so I only have its title to go on.
Fairies of the Autumn Glen: Whisperers of the Fall | Fantasy AI Music VideoFantasy Allure AI · 2mo ago · 4:35 · 6.1K viewsNeutral, no verdict · what the video says
Not about this site. 'Fairies of the Autumn Glen', a four-minute AI music video from Fantasy Allure AI with 6,081 views; the transcript is the full lyric, a seasonal poem about forest spirits painting the leaves. It is the only video in the set with a readable transcript and it contains no product, price or opinion, because it is a song. The three transcripted videos together give me 328 words, none of them about an AI companion.
My read: The video record for this brand is empty and I say so rather than pad it. What I know about the product comes from its plans page, three Trustpilot reviews and my own month with it, and that is thinner than I would like for a verdict. The sister site, DreamGF, has the video coverage; this one does not.
What the videos add up to
Reading across the 3 transcripts, this is the picture that emerges.
Of the 3 most-watched videos whose transcripts I read, 3 are neutral walkthroughs with no verdict and none is negative.
Five videos, 467,092 views between them, and none is about the product. Two are AI short films with no captions (a 33-minute 'Dark Fantasy AI Film' with 239,506 views and a two-minute 'Dark Fantasy AI Art' piece), and the three with transcripts are music videos from one channel, Fantasy Allure AI, whose lyrics and vocal filler are the only text I have. There is no review, no walkthrough and no complaint video, so the video record contributes nothing to the verdict.
Why the pull came back empty is the finding. 'Fantasy AI' is a genre on YouTube, the label people put on fantasy imagery made with AI video tools, and it draws hundreds of thousands of views a month that have nothing to do with a companion site. A brand that shares its name with a genre, a fantasy-football tool and an unrelated iOS app is a brand reviewers cannot find and search engines cannot isolate, and that shapes every number on this page.
What I can say from my own test stands on its own. It is a DreamGF-style girlfriend builder from the same operator, DreamAI SRL of Bucharest: realistic companions, NSFW image generation, voice messages and calls, short video clips, a 'Free Mode' paid for by watching ads, and a token meter on everything. The three Trustpilot reviews Google cites, two five-star and one one-star, are the closest thing to a crowd verdict, and they split exactly on whether the token meter feels fair.
What gets praised
- Nothing about the product: none of the 5 videos reviews, demonstrates or mentions the site (0 of 5)
- The AI films themselves are popular, which is why the phrase is crowded (3 videos above 75,000 views)
- Trustpilot, not YouTube, carries the only praise: 'hilarious, flirty' free-mode chat and voice messages that 'feel so real' (2 reviews; my check, not a video)
What gets criticised
- All five results are name collisions, so a newcomer searching the brand on YouTube finds AI cinema (5 of 5 videos)
- No hands-on review of the site exists under 'fantasy ai', 'fantasy.ai' or 'dreamgf' that I could find (0 videos)
- The only transcripts are song lyrics and vocal filler, 328 words in total, with no product fact in them (3 videos)
What Reddit says, thread by thread
The threads Google surfaces for "fantasy ai" on Reddit, read with their top comments. Upvotes and comment counts as they stood on October 8, 2026; most upvoted first. Screenshots show the post as it is publicly visible.

r/StableDiffusion · u/Unreal_777 · March 18, 2023 · 139 upvotes · 77 comments · open on Reddit
Negative · what the thread says
The most upvoted thread (139) in the 2023 dispute: a model maker leaks the pitch fantasy.ai's founder sent him, redacted, offering ongoing financial support for exclusivity. The community reads the terms as derisory. A professional model trainer (+60) says a bespoke model fetches $3,000 and a general one $7,000, so the offer is worth 'WAY' less than the skills; others (+25, +16) are shocked it was about $150 a month for exclusive rights; a named creator, Hassan, replies that his own deal was not like this and that each modeller negotiated separately. Nothing in it concerns chat or companions.
“If this is true, this is a really bad deal. Only $150/month for exclusive right?!” — u/Apprehensive_Sky892, +16
My read: The thread that fixed the domain's reputation on r/StableDiffusion, and it is about a business that no longer exists there. I agree with the sub that $150 a month for exclusivity was a bad deal; I disagree that a 2023 pricing dispute with model makers tells a 2026 buyer anything about the companion product, its token meter or its images, which is what this page is for.

r/StableDiffusion · u/Fantasy_AI · March 9, 2023 · 7 upvotes · 183 comments · open on Reddit
Negative · what the thread says
March 2023: an account called Fantasy_AI posts a 'Creators first' statement after r/StableDiffusion accused fantasy.ai and sinkin.ai of hosting popular models without permission while claiming exclusive commercial rights to models they had paid creators for. The 183 replies are hostile. The top comment (+94) says you cannot claim exclusivity on models that existed before the deal, because users already downloaded them under another licence; a model seller (+91) says the merged models 'cannot be your IP' and likely contain leaked NovelAI weights; another (+54) says 'no one in this sub likes you'. This is the domain's previous life, not the girlfriend site.
“You cant claim exclusivity on models that existed before this deal. Users agreed to another license when downloaded.” — u/leppie, +94
My read: Real history for this domain, and I disagree that it describes today's product. Fantasy.ai in 2023 was an image-model marketplace; the site I tested is a DreamGF-style companion builder run by DreamAI SRL, with no model hosting at all. What carries over is a domain with a reputation on one subreddit and a backlink base that predates the pivot.

r/StableDiffusion · u/JuusozArt · March 9, 2023 · 0 upvotes · 37 comments · open on Reddit
Mixed · what the thread says
A model creator (Myne Factory) asks why fantasy.ai was lumped in with sinkin.ai when the evidence screenshot showed sinkin hosting a model without permission and the fantasy.ai example did not match. Sinkin's founder turns up to say the model had an open licence when they took it and has been removed. The most upvoted reply (+5) notes the irony that the base checkpoints were trained on art without permission 'but that's considered cool', and another asks why a free model on the site and a paid exclusivity deal are being treated as the same thing. The poster later marks the thread outdated and points to a fuller breakdown.
“The funny thing is that the original chackpoints are trained on art without permission too, but that's considered cool.” — u/FPham, +5
My read: The fairest of the 2023 threads, and the one that shows the accusation was partly a pile-on. I agree with the poster that hosting an open model and buying exclusivity on another are different questions. For today's buyer the thread matters only as evidence that the domain's history is messier than a girlfriend site's usually is.

r/StableDiffusion · u/[deleted] · March 19, 2023 · 0 upvotes · 13 comments · open on Reddit
Mixed · what the thread says
A user complains that after downvoting Fantasy.ai-linked models on Civitai in protest, the moderators removed their vote and comment rights. The sub sides with the moderators. The top reply (+17) asks whether they tested any of the models they downvoted; others (+11, +6) call protest-voting on free models 'a shi**y move' and tell them to make their own, and one notes Civitai had already said drama-only votes would be stripped from ratings. The thread has zero upvotes and thirteen comments, a measure of how quickly the sub tired of the dispute.
“All the models you down voted did you download & test to conclude they deserved the rating you gave?” — u/natemac, +17
My read: A footnote to the 2023 row, included because it marks where the sub's sympathy ran out. I agree with the moderators and with the replies: review-bombing free models is not criticism. Like the other three threads it says nothing about the companion site now on the domain.
What Reddit adds up to
Reading across the 4 threads, weighted by upvotes.
Of the 4 threads I read, 2 are mixed and 2 are negative.
Four of the eighteen threads are about this domain, and all four are from March 2023, when fantasy.ai was an image-model marketplace accused on r/StableDiffusion of claiming exclusive rights to merged community models and of pitching creators about $150 a month for exclusivity. The company's own statement thread drew 183 mostly hostile replies; the leaked-pitch thread drew 139 upvotes. The other fourteen threads are fantasy football, fantasy novels, RPG enemy AI, worldbuilding workflows and an unrelated iOS app called Fantasy AI that was caught copying Character.AI bots.
None of it is about the product on the domain today. The site I tested is a DreamGF-style companion builder run by DreamAI SRL of Bucharest, the company whose name and address appear in both footers; it hosts no models and sells no exclusivity. Whether the same people ran the 2023 business is not disclosed anywhere I could find. What carries over is a domain with a bad name on one large subreddit and a backlink base that predates the pivot.
The absence is the finding. A companion site with a few thousand monthly search visits and three Trustpilot reviews has not generated a single Reddit thread in two and a half years, while its sister site has. For a buyer that means there is no crowd verdict to lean on here, and my test and the sister site's record carry more of this profile than I would like.
What gets praised
- The 2023 operators engaged publicly with the criticism rather than ignoring it (1 thread, the statement)
- Hosting free models and charging for exclusivity were conceded to be legal under the Stable Diffusion licence (2 threads)
- Civitai's refusal to count protest votes against Fantasy.ai-linked models was backed by the sub (1 thread)
What gets criticised
- Claiming exclusive rights to merged community models, some with leaked NovelAI components (2 threads, +94 and +53 comments)
- A pitch to creators worth about $150 a month for exclusivity, called 'a really bad deal' (1 thread, 139 upvotes)
- Being lumped in with sinkin.ai on evidence that did not match (1 thread)
- Nothing at all about the companion product: no praise, no complaint, no thread (0 of 18 threads)

NFL Pro Fantasy AI Assistant ExplainedNFL.com · November 3, 2025Could not read
This page blocks automated readers, so I have only the headline, which is about the NFL's fantasy-football AI assistant and not about this site.
What the press adds up to
Reading across the 8 articles I could open.
Of the 8 articles I read, 8 are neutral and none is negative.
Of ten articles, none is about this brand. Seven are AI11 pages of 'Fantasy AI Predictions' for cricket matches, one is a YouTube page for an AI short film, and the two I could not read are an NFL fantasy-football assistant and an AI movie at Cannes. The eleven 'articles in the last twelve months' on this page are those tip sheets being re-dated.
That leaves the brand with no independent written coverage I can find, which is unusual even for a small companion site. Its sister site DreamGF has reviews on StartupHub, LA Weekly and Greenbot; this one has a Trustpilot page with three reviews and a company reply, and that is the record. What I know beyond that comes from the plans page and my own test.
The practical consequence for a buyer: nobody has independently checked the token meter, the image quality or the billing here. Treat the sister site's reviews as the nearest proxy, since it is the same operator and a near-identical price ladder, and treat the introductory prices as what they are: a first period that renews higher.
What gets praised
- Nothing: no article praises or even mentions the companion site (0 of 10)
- The only written praise anywhere is on Trustpilot: 'addictive' free-mode chat with 'hilarious, flirty' companions, and voice messages and images that 'feel so real' (2 reviews, my check)
- The company answers its one-star review on Trustpilot with specific token costs, which is more than most sites in this category do (1 reply, my check)
What gets criticised
- No independent review has tested the product (0 of 10 articles)
- The one-star Trustpilot review calls the token meter a hidden cost and says 'watch and earn' pays less than promised (1 review, my check)
- The press pull is dominated by fantasy-sports tip sheets, so the brand cannot be found under its own name (7 of 10 articles)

Fantasy AI can refer to several different things depending on what you are looking for, ranging from image and art generators to character chat apps and roleplay tools. Popular Meanings and Tools of "Fantasy AI" AI Fantasy Art & Image Generators: Tools like ZSky AI or Adobe Firefly let you create custom D&D character portraits, mythical creatures, and epic landscape illustrations using text prompts. AI Character Chat & Virtual Companions: Apps like Fantasy AI on mobile app stores or platforms like Nomi.ai allow users to interact with customizable virtual characters, engage in roleplay, or build collaborative fantasy stories. How AI systems regard it: my take
Why this matters: Google's AI summary is the first description most newcomers read, and for this brand it does not describe the brand. It opens with 'Fantasy AI can refer to several different things' and then lists art generators (Adobe Firefly, ZSky), character-chat apps and tabletop games. The companion site is not named in the text at all.
The framing puts the brand in a crowd it did not choose. The one chat app the overview names is 'Fantasy AI on mobile app stores', and the App Store link it cites is an unrelated anime character-chat app from a different developer, while the Trustpilot link it cites is for fantasy.ai itself. So Google's AI has stitched a different company's app to this company's reviews under one name. That is the discoverability problem in a single paragraph.
One thing I disagree with: the implication that 'Fantasy AI' the chat app and fantasy.ai the site are one product. They are not; the app's seller is Rimone Holding and the site's operator is DreamAI SRL, DreamGF's parent. A buyer who reads the overview, downloads the app and judges the site by it has tested the wrong thing, and the brand has no control over that until it earns enough coverage under its own name to displace the app.

Google's own suggestions after "fantasy ai" and the related searches Google Trends ranks highest over the last 12 months, retrieved October 7, 2026.
These are the questions people have before they sign up, in their own words. I group them by what they tell me, because the mix says more than any single search: a brand searched mostly with “free” has a different audience from one searched with “review”.

My take
The brand keyword belongs to other people. Of ten autocomplete suggestions for 'fantasy ai', four are fantasy football (football, trade analyzer, helper, draft helper), four are art (art, art generator, image generator, generator) and only 'fantasy ai chat' and 'fantasy ai chatbot' could be this site. Google Trends says the same: the related queries are 'fantasy football ai', 'final fantasy' and 'ai news', and the rising list is a grocery store and a perfume. The 'fantasy ai' search series on this page peaks in September and October, which is the NFL fantasy draft season, not this brand's season.
The query that is actually the brand is 'fantasy.ai' with the dot, 6,600 US searches a month, which the site ranks first for, plus small branded tails like 'fantasy ai gf' and 'your fantasy ai'. That is the demand I would track, and it is a fraction of what the headline series shows. Among the rising queries, 'darlink ai' at +2,200% is the one rival name, and it is rising in the comparison searches of several brands I cover this month.
Where the site does get found is the category long tail: #12 for 'ai girlfriend generator' (14,800 searches a month), #25 for 'adult ai' and 'free ai girlfriend', #62 for 'ai girlfriend' itself. Germany is the second-largest traffic source after the United States, a quarter of visits, which fits a European operator and is unusual for a category that normally skews American. The shared-keyword competitors are seaart, myanima, romanticai, kupid and couple.me, the generator-and-companion set rather than the anime character-chat set.

Part 3 · Traffic rank and reach
How much traffic Fantasy.ai gets, and where it ranks
How I track this: search-traffic estimates miss direct visits, apps and social, so for all-traffic reach I use Tranco, a daily ranking of every domain on the internet built from DNS and browser data (Cloudflare Radar, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic, Farsight and Chrome), and I check it against Google’s own Chrome UX Report each month. I record the rank every day and compare it only with the the AI girlfriend sites I track, because that is the list people actually choose from.
On the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, fantasy.ai ranked #588,409 among every domain worldwide, up 9,820 places since August 31, 2026, and Chrome's data puts it in the top 500,000 most visited sites. Among the AI girlfriend sites I track, that makes it #10, behind DreamGF and LoveCoreAI.

Its positions on the category searches
fantasy.ai's Google positions on the category's searches. DataForSEO, United States, September 2026.
Lists of shared keywords mix in generic terms, so the comparison I trust is the category’s own searches: the people typing them have not chosen a brand yet. In September 2026, fantasy.ai held position #62 for “ai girlfriend” in the US.
| Search | US searches / month | Position |
|---|---|---|
| “ai girlfriend” | 135,000 | #62 |
| “chat girlfriend” | 22,200 | #64 |
| “free ai girlfriend” | 18,100 | #25 |
| “ai girlfriend generator” | 14,800 | #12 |
| “free girlfriend chat” | 12,100 | #31 |
How I read it. 78% of this site’s top-keyword traffic comes from people typing its own name, so the category searches are what bring in people who have never heard of it. Position #62 for "ai girlfriend" is off page one, so for now the site depends on its name rather than on the category term.

The facts
| Finding | Detail |
|---|---|
| Traffic up 53% on the month | Estimated organic search traffic in September 2026 was 6,301 visits worldwide, +53.0% versus August 2026 and +301.6% versus September 2025. |
| A 96% collapse, then a recovery to 35% of peak | Traffic fell from 17,989 visits in December 2024 to 654 in May 2025, then climbed back to 35% of that earlier peak by September 2026. |
| 38% of visits come from the United States | The United States accounts for 2,405 visits, followed by Germany and Brazil. |
| 4.4K people a month search the brand name in the US | Google Ads data puts US searches for "fantasy ai" at about 4,400 a month in August 2026 (-63.6% since September 2025), and worldwide searches at about 27,100. |
| 78% of top-keyword traffic is branded | 78% of the traffic from the top 10 US keywords comes from people typing the brand name, which indicates demand driven mostly by name recognition rather than generic search rankings. |
| 949 referring domains, Domain Rating 36 | 949 websites link to fantasy.ai, +276.6% over the last 12 months; its Domain Rating by Ahrefs is 36 and its DataForSEO domain rank is 51 (37 a year ago). |
| Position #62 on Google for "ai girlfriend" | In September 2026, fantasy.ai ranked #62 in the US results for "ai girlfriend", the category's own search term, which is searched about 135,000 times a month. |
| #10 among the AI girlfriend sites I track | Fantasy.ai sits #10 among the sites I track on the combined data, ranking #62 in United States Google results for "ai girlfriend", behind DreamGF and LoveCoreAI. Among all domains on the internet it ranks 588,409th in the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, up 9,820 places since August 31, 2026; Google's Chrome UX Report places it in the top 500,000 most visited sites worldwide. |
| YouTube has nothing on this site: all five results are AI-generated fantasy films and music videos that share the phrase | Of the 3 most-watched videos whose transcripts I read, 3 are neutral walkthroughs with no verdict and none is negative. The five videos Google surfaces for 'fantasy ai' are AI-generated fantasy films and songs, so YouTube adds nothing to this profile and the brand's shared name is the reason. |
My take: the story in the numbers
What moved, and why I think it moved: the numbers read together, with the reviews in hand.
This is a small site that nearly disappeared and came back smaller. Worldwide organic traffic peaked at 17,989 visits in December 2024, fell to 654 by May 2025, down 96%, and then climbed through the winter to about 6,900 a month by April 2026. September 2026 is 6,301, up 53% on August and up 302% on a year earlier, but still a third of the 2024 peak. The May 2025 collapse is the same month Candy AI, the category leader, lost 90% of its search traffic, which points at a Google change aimed at the category rather than anything this site did; the difference is that Candy had 300,000 brand searches a month waiting to pull it back and this site had 6,600.
The backlink count tells a story the referring-domain count contradicts, and I trust the second. Backlinks went from 2,630 in May 2025 to 379,554 in June 2025, held within a few hundred of that figure for exactly twelve months, and dropped to 3,322 in June 2026. Referring domains did not move at all in June 2025 (214 to 220). One domain linking from about 377,000 pages for precisely a year is a sitewide placement with a twelve-month term, bought or arranged, and it did nothing for traffic: the site bottomed in the month it appeared. The real link growth came later and looks earned: referring domains jumped from 274 in October 2025 to 533 in November and climbed every month since to 949, and traffic followed a month later, from 1,882 in November to 4,119 in December and 6,883 in January. Many sites linking a little, then traffic, is the pattern I believe.
The brand-search series is not this brand. 'Fantasy ai' fell from 12,100 US searches a month in September and October 2025 to 4,400 from June 2026, down 64%, and the Trends curve for it is at 19 against a peak of 100. But the related queries are 'fantasy football ai' and 'final fantasy', the autocomplete is draft helpers and art generators, and the peaks land in September and October, the NFL fantasy draft season. The keyword that is this brand, 'fantasy.ai' with the dot, is 6,600 searches a month and the site ranks first for it. So the demand chart on this page is mostly football, and the brand's own demand is flat and small.
Where the visits come from says what the site is. The United States sends 2,032 of the monthly organic visits and Germany 1,602, with Brazil, Britain, Canada and France far behind. A quarter of traffic from Germany is unusual in this category, which normally skews American, and it fits a Bucharest operator that markets in Europe. The keywords that bring people are generic: #12 for 'ai girlfriend generator', #25 for 'free ai girlfriend' and 'adult ai', #62 for 'ai girlfriend'. People do not arrive here by name; they arrive by category and find a DreamGF clone with a different coat of paint.
What people say is almost nothing, and what exists belongs to someone else. Three Trustpilot reviews, no press, no Reddit thread about the product, and four 2023 Reddit threads about a model marketplace that used to live on the domain. The sister site has the reviews, the videos and the 6,000-member Discord, and none of that transfers here. A site that cannot be found under its own name cannot build a reputation under it either, and that is the ceiling on the traffic line: the recovery is coming from earned links and category keywords, not from anyone looking for fantasy.ai.
Verdict. Holding steady on the scorecard from a very low base: traffic up on the year and the month, referring domains up four-fold in a year, Tranco edging up from 598,229 to 588,409. The headline brand-search decline is fantasy football, not this site. The most plausible reading is a sister brand that DreamAI runs as a second storefront for the same engine, recovering from a category-wide ranking event on the strength of a link campaign that began in November 2025. If the referring-domain curve keeps climbing it keeps growing; if DreamAI stops feeding it, it has no demand of its own to fall back on.

In short
What I learned, and what I expect next
Pulling it together, from my own paid test, from what users say, and from my indicators: Fantasy.ai is holding steady right now. Here is the whole picture in a few lines, then the scorecard behind it.
How it is performing
Fantasy.ai drew an estimated 6,301 visits from Google search in September 2026, +53.0% on August 2026 and +301.6% on a year earlier. The year-on-year figure flatters it because it is measured against the May 2025 low; against the December 2024 peak it is at 35%. Over the last quarter the trend is slipping (-21.3% against the three months before). Counting all traffic, it is #10 among the AI girlfriend sites I track, behind DreamGF and LoveCoreAI.
Reading the trend with what little the sources give: the traffic line bottomed in May 2025 in a category-wide event, flattened for six months, and turned up in December 2025 one month after referring domains doubled, so the recovery is link-led and category-keyword-led rather than demand-led. The only user verdicts, three Trustpilot reviews, split on the one thing that matters at this price, whether the token meter on top of the subscription feels fair, and my test came down with the one-star review on images and influencer chats and with the five-star reviews on the chat itself. Nothing people say is driving the numbers either way, because almost nobody is saying anything; the numbers are driven by DreamAI's link building and by Google's treatment of the category. The one thing that would change my read is a brand search of its own: if 'fantasy.ai' with the dot starts growing, the storefront has become a brand.
What changed
Brand demand is the standout: about 4,400 US searches a month (-63.6% year on year) and 27,100 worldwide. Traffic is up faster than brand demand, which usually means the site is winning generic searches rather than relying on its name. In popularity terms it has climbed 9,820 places since August 31, 2026. Links are still being earned (+276.6% in 12 months). On the reputation side: of the 3 most-watched videos whose transcripts I read, 3 are neutral walkthroughs with no verdict and none is negative. The five videos Google surfaces for 'fantasy ai' are AI-generated fantasy films and songs, so YouTube adds nothing to this profile and the brand's shared name is the reason. Reddit's only memory of fantasy.ai is a 2023 model-licensing row from the domain's previous life, and the girlfriend site that lives there now has never been discussed.
What I expect
The indicators point in different directions, so I expect Fantasy.ai to hold roughly where it is: traffic near 5.2K visits a month and a position around #10 among the sites I track. A sustained rise in brand searches is the signal that would lift it. 8 of its 8 closest search rivals currently get more US search traffic than it does, which is the gap to watch.

What I will check next month
- Whether September 2026’s traffic figure held, rose or fell once the next month is in.
- Whether US brand searches move out of the 4.4K band they have sat in.
- Whether the Tranco rank keeps the direction it showed over the last 30 days.
- Whether fantasy.ai holds position #62 for “ai girlfriend”, the category’s own search.

Part 7 · Method
How I measured all this
I bought a Fantasy.ai membership and tested it myself, and I come at the write-up as a data researcher. Everything on this page is measured, because the whole point of this site is to rank AI girlfriend platforms by real usage and interest rather than by anyone’s taste, and every brand page uses the same indicators in the same order so they can be compared. I pulled every figure on October 7, 2026.
- Traffic, keywords, backlinks, competitors, WHOIS
- From DataForSEO, refreshed monthly. “Organic traffic” is an estimate of visits from Google results, modelled from the keywords a site ranks for. It leaves out direct visits, app traffic, paid ads and social referrals, so the real audience is bigger; that is why I also show an all-traffic popularity rank.
- Brand search volume
- Google Ads keyword data via DataForSEO. Google rounds these into bands, which is why months often repeat the same figure.
- Domain Rating
- Domain Rating by Ahrefs, a 100-point measure of backlink strength, published under Ahrefs’ Domain Rating license. The DataForSEO domain rank is a separate 100-point backlink score.
- Popularity rank
- The Tranco list, an academic ranking of the top million domains built from DNS and browser data; a rank, not a visit count. The Chrome UX Report tier is Google's own popularity bucket from real Chrome users.
- Trends, videos, forums, press, search suggestions
- Google Trends is relative interest on a 0 to 100 scale, not a count. News, YouTube, Reddit and autocomplete data come through SerpApi from public Google and YouTube results; video views are summed across the videos I found. For the most-watched videos I also pull the caption transcript through SerpApi, read it in full, and write a short account of what the video says plus my own conclusion; videos without captions are listed by title only. For Reddit I read each thread Google surfaces directly from reddit.com in a browser, record its upvotes, comment count and top comments as they stood that day, screenshot the post as it is publicly visible, and classify it after reading; threads with no analysis yet are listed by title. Press articles are read in full and classified the same way; pages that block automated readers are marked as unread. The category search check is a live Google result for the category's own term (United States, desktop) via DataForSEO. Discord counts come from the server's public invite page.
- Hands-on testing
- I purchased a Fantasy.ai membership and used the product myself: chat, memory, images and the paid extras. My own test tells me what each feature does; the verdict on each feature comes from what users publish, because for a brand this size their view is more grounded than one reviewer's.
- Rounding and independence
- Figures are rounded for display; charts show the exact values. Top AI Girlfriends is not affiliated with DataForSEO, Ahrefs, SerpApi, Google, or Fantasy.ai.
Part 8 · Final verdict
One last word on Fantasy.ai
Fantasy.ai is DreamGF with a different name, a token meter on everything and an extra shelf of 'AI versions' of real models, and after a month with it I would send most people to the sister site instead. The chat is good at flirting and staying in character, the realistic images are quick and consistent, voice messages work, and the Free Mode is more generous than it sounds once you know standard companions cost a tenth of a token a message. The two five-star Trustpilot reviews are right about that, and so, on the other side, is the one-star review about where the money goes. There is no press and no Reddit thread about the product, so my test carries this verdict almost alone.
The trade-off is a price ladder built on introductions and a meter built on temptation. $7.99 becomes $14.99, $69.99 becomes $155.88, the trial converts by itself, and the 200 monthly tokens evaporate on images, video and the influencer models that cost twenty times the standard rate per message. The domain also carries baggage: a 2023 model-licensing row on r/StableDiffusion that has nothing to do with this product but is the only thing Reddit remembers, and an unrelated iOS app with the same name that Google's AI Overview stitches to this site's reviews.
Who should pick it: someone who wants the DreamGF engine with chats modelled on real creators, will use Free Mode or the $69.99 first year, and will watch the meter. Who should not: anyone who wants video, reliable voice calls, a community to ask questions in, or a price that stays what it said on the sign-up page.
Where it stands today: #10 of the AI girlfriend sites I track, holding steady on my scorecard from a very low base, with traffic a third of its 2024 peak, a link profile that doubled in November 2025 and has climbed since, and a brand search of 6,600 a month that is flat. If DreamAI keeps building links and the referring-domain count keeps rising, it keeps growing; if the renewal complaints that follow introductory pricing start appearing on Trustpilot in numbers, the verdict goes the other way, and the sister site is the better buy either way.
