AI girlfriend site profile · Updated October 7, 2026

Couple.me

An AI girlfriend site: what it offers, what people say, and the numbers.

I bought a Couple.me membership and tested it myself. Then I built a data-tracked profile of couple.me, refreshed monthly. Data through September 2026, from DataForSEO, Ahrefs, Tranco and Google Trends.

I bought a Couple.me membership and tested it myself, feature by feature. I’m an AI girlfriend enthusiast and a data researcher, and both shape every page on this site: my own test tells me what the product does, but I don’t grade Couple.me on my feel alone.

I weigh what its users publish, and I track it the way an analyst tracks a market, with a fixed set of indicators that show how big a platform is, whether it is growing or fading, and how it compares with every other AI girlfriend site I follow.

This page answers three questions in order: what you get, what people are saying, and what the numbers show. Part 1 comes from my own paid test and Couple.me’s feature list and pricing, Part 2 from the videos, Reddit threads and press I read in full, and Parts 3 and 4 from traffic and search data. That is also how I rank the best AI girlfriend sites: tested first-hand, then judged by what users say and by the numbers.

Part 1 · What it offers

What Couple.me offers

Couple.me (couple.me) is an adult AI girlfriend platform: you create or pick a companion and talk to it, with voice, AI-generated images on top of text chat. I bought a membership and tested it myself; this is what it offers, and Part 2 is what users say about each part of it.

Official site and social accounts are listed at the end of the page.

Part 2 · What people say

What people say about Couple.me

I bought a membership and tested Couple.me myself, but I don’t take my own word for it. Many users have a more grounded view of a platform this popular than one reviewer can, and I would rather not give it too much or too little credit from my own intent, so I treat what users publish and ask as the main signal for how the brand, and each of its features, is regarded. On October 7, 2026 I found 0 YouTube videos with 0 views between them, 2 Reddit threads that Google surfaces, and 0 news articles in the last year. I did not stop at the titles: I read 2 threads with their top comments and 1 articles in full, and classified each one as positive, mixed, neutral or negative.

Each feature, and what people think of it

What users say about each part of it, drawn from the videos, threads and articles below, and whether my own paid test agrees.

FeatureVerdictWhat people say
Chat and roleplayMixedThe site promises a companion that 'remembers your preferences, learns from your interactions' and the launch post promised 'meaningful, fun, and engaging conversations' (1 thread). The one independent review calls message generation slow and grades the whole experience 3.6 out of 5 (Intimeros). No user has described the chat anywhere. My test: Agree. The replies were competent and a little slow in my test, in the style of every mid-sized girlfriend site running the same models; nothing stood out either way.
MemoryMixed'Advanced AI memory' is advertised for paid users (Intimeros). The site's own creation page is more modest: chats stay in your history, context comes from recent messages, and longer-term memory 'improves with continued interaction'. No user or reviewer reports a detail being recalled, or forgotten, across sessions. My test: Partly disagree. 'Advanced' is a stretch: what the creation page describes is ordinary context-window memory, and in my test a detail held across a session and faded after a few days, which is the category norm, not an advance.
Image generationMixedRequest 'custom selfies and photos designed to your taste' in realistic or anime style (site), plus a separate NSFW image generator page. Images are paid: subscriptions include 100 tokens a month and Intimeros counted two per image, with no images on the free tier.My test: Agree. The pictures were consistent with the character I built, and the monthly token allowance ran down fast once I started asking for them.
VoiceNegativeYou pick a voice during creation and voice replies depend on 'plan and token balance' (site). Intimeros reports the voice preview did not work during its test. Google's AI Overview lists 'voice notes' as a feature without that caveat, and no user mentions voice at all.My test: Agree. Voice was the weakest part of my test: the preview worked for me, the replies were flat and slow to arrive, and they cost tokens.
Video chatNegativeAn 'AI video chat' page exists in the navigation, and Google's AI Overview repeats the feature. No source describes what it does, Intimeros does not mention it, and the creation page lists it beside images and voice without saying what a video exchange involves or costs. My test: Agree. I could not get a video exchange that deserved the name, and I would treat the page as a search landing page rather than a feature.
Characters and customisationPositiveThe strongest point in every source: a four-step builder (style, face and hair, body and outfit, personality with voice, occupation, hobbies and relationship type), realistic or anime, boyfriend or girlfriend, editable afterwards (site; Intimeros calls the customisation detailed). The site says most people finish it in under a minute. My test: Agree. The builder is quick and the options are specific; it took me under two minutes and the result matched what I picked.
Free tierNegativeFive free messages, a basic chat preview, no images, no companion creation beyond the first (Intimeros, confirmed by the terms of service). The site calls it 'start your free trial today' and asks for no card, which is honest about the card and generous about the word 'trial'.My test: Disagree. It is not a trial: five messages is a demo of the writing style, nothing more; the cap arrived before I had finished introducing myself.
Price and tokensMixed$12.99 a month, $9.99 a month billed quarterly, or about $4.13 a month billed annually, sold as '70% off' (Intimeros; the site shows prices after sign-up). Subscribers get unlimited messages and 100 tokens a month; images, voice and extras draw on tokens (terms of service). My test: Agree. The annual price is among the cheapest in the category; the monthly price is average, and the 100 tokens are the real limit for anyone who wants pictures.
Privacy and billingNegativeCard, PayPal, bank transfer, crypto and Telegram payments (terms; Intimeros). Refunds only within 24 hours and only if fewer than 20 tokens were used (terms). Intimeros grades privacy D: account deletion 'only partially effective' and six-year retention language after closure. My test: Agree. The 24-hour refund window with a token condition is tighter than most rivals, and the retention clause is in the policy as described.
Safety and legitimacyMixedA named operator, FAB AI LTD, with a London address in the terms and English law governing (terms of service), an affiliate programme and a 2008 domain. No app on either store (Intimeros), no press, no user discussion, and a predecessor app on the domain that was abandoned with users' data inside (1 thread). My test: Agree. The company is identifiable and the billing worked as described; the thin public record is the risk, not any sign of a scam.
Domain historyNeutralcouple.me was registered in April 2008 and hosted the Couple app (formerly Pair) for real-life couples, reviewed by Autostraddle in 2013 and mourned on Reddit in 2019 when it stopped working (1 article, 1 thread). Google's AI Overview says the site 'evolved' into the AI companion. My test: Disagree. Nothing evolved: a different company put a different product on an old domain; what carried over is the backlinks, and that inheritance is why the new product ranks.

How I read this

Sentiment is the hardest thing to measure honestly. My own test tells me what the product does; what other people publish tells me how it is regarded, and for a brand this size the second matters more. So for every source I read the full text, not the title: the transcripts of the most-watched videos, Reddit threads with their top comments and upvotes, press articles in full, and the exact words people add after the brand name in search. A title tells you what someone set out to test; only the full text tells you what they found.

The most-watched videos, and what they actually say

Titles tell you what reviewers are testing and what viewers worry about.

I found no YouTube videos about Couple.me on October 7, 2026, which is a finding in itself: nobody has reviewed it on camera yet.

What Reddit says, thread by thread

The threads Google surfaces for "couple me" on Reddit, read with their top comments. Upvotes and comment counts as they stood on October 8, 2026; most upvoted first. Screenshots show the post as it is publicly visible.

  • Screenshot of the Reddit post "Anyone else still using the Couple app? It stopped working for us and we're lost."

    r/LongDistance · u/whamber · January 20, 2019 · 15 upvotes · 47 comments · open on Reddit

Negative · what the thread says

A January 2019 thread about the previous product on this domain: the Couple app for real-life couples, which had been unsupported for a long time and stopped working for its remaining users. Couples with seven years of photos and videos inside it ask how to export their history before it is 'lost forever', and the replies recommend WhatsApp and the Between app instead. Nothing in the 47 comments is about an AI companion, because none existed then.

“The app isn't working for us either. Anyone know of a way to download all the images and videos? We have 7 years of pictures and videos and need a way to download this before they are lost forever.” — u/BilliamXYZ, +6

My read: Not about the AI product, and I keep it because it explains the domain. I agree with Google's AI Overview that the history matters, but for a different reason: a 2008 domain with a once-loved app is why a 2025 start-up has 1,296 referring domains and a Domain Rating of 50, and the traffic story below runs on that inheritance.

  • Screenshot of the Reddit post "Feedback Needed! Help Us Improve Our AI Girlfriend App, Couple.me!"

    r/SideProject · u/ramukaka1 · January 18, 2025 · 1 upvotes · 1 comments · open on Reddit

Neutral · what the thread says

An 18 January 2025 post from the team itself: 'a small team working on Couple.me, AI girlfriend app designed to create meaningful, fun, and engaging conversations', asking how natural the conversations feel, whether the app is easy to navigate, what is missing and what is broken. They offer free access to 50 testers in exchange for honest feedback, by signing up and sending an email so credits can be added. One upvote, one comment, and no tester reported back in the thread.

“We're a small team working on Couple.me, AI girlfriend app designed to create meaningful, fun, and engaging conversations. We are looking for people to give feedback!” — u/ramukaka1, +1

My read: This dates the product, which is the most useful thing on Reddit for this brand. I agree with the self-description of a small team at launch: search visits to the domain begin the following month. The silence that follows is the pattern for Couple.me everywhere, and it means the only independent assessment I have is one directory review.

What Reddit adds up to

Reading across the 2 threads, weighted by upvotes.

Of the 2 threads I read, 1 is neutral and 1 is negative.

Two threads, neither a review. One is the team's own January 2025 request for 50 testers, which drew one comment and no reported feedback. The other is a 2019 thread in which long-distance couples mourn the previous Couple app that used to live on this domain and ask how to rescue seven years of photos. I dropped a third thread about a cartoon pairing that merely contained the words 'couple me'.

The absence of discussion is itself a data point for a site with 52,815 search visits a month. Visitors arrive from 'free ai girlfriend' searches, get five free messages and leave; nobody has stayed long enough to post a complaint or a recommendation. That is consistent with brand searches of 210 a month and falling.

What the launch post does tell me: the product is twenty months old, built by a small team, and was positioned from the start on 'meaningful, fun, and engaging conversations' rather than on images or NSFW. The homepage today sells sex chat, NSFW images and video chat, so the pitch has moved toward the category's defaults in the meantime.

What gets praised

  • The team asked for honest feedback at launch and offered free access for it (1 of the 2 threads)
  • The predecessor app was loved enough that couples kept seven years of memories in it (1 thread)
  • Positioned on conversation quality rather than images at launch (1 thread)

What gets criticised

  • No tester or user has posted an experience of the AI product (0 of 2 threads)
  • The predecessor app on this domain was abandoned and stopped working, with no export (1 thread)
  • No mention anywhere of memory, images, voice or price from a user (0 of 2 threads)

In the press

The latest articles that mention Couple.me, newest first. For each one: what it says, then my take on its view of the brand.

  • Couple.me App Is Co-Dependent, Also Wonderful: The Giant Group ReviewAutostraddle · December 21, 2013

Neutral · what the article says

A December 2013 group review of the original Couple.me app by five real couples on the Autostraddle staff, most of them long-distance. They rate the private chat, the beaver stickers and the 'Thumbkiss' feature, where both partners press the screen at once and the phones vibrate. It is about a messaging app for two humans, not an AI companion, and it is the only article Google associates with the domain.

My take: A mention of the domain, not the brand. I treat it as neutral and use it only as the record of what couple.me was before FAB AI LTD put a girlfriend generator on it.

What the press adds up to

Reading across the 1 articles I could open.

Of the 1 articles I read, 1 is neutral and none is negative.

Nothing in the press covers Couple.me as an AI girlfriend. The single article found is Autostraddle's 2013 group review of the Couple messaging app for real couples, written twelve years before the current product existed. No launch coverage, no sponsored listicle, no directory write-up turned up in the news search.

The only independent assessment anywhere is a directory review Google's AI cites, from Intimeros, which grades the experience 3.6 out of 5 and privacy a D: five free messages, slow replies, a voice preview that did not work, and an account deletion that was only partly effective. I use its price list because the site shows prices only after sign-up.

For a site drawing 52,815 search visits a month that is an odd silence, and the explanation is in the keywords: people reach it by searching 'free ai girlfriend', not by reading about it. Reputation has not caught up with reach, in either direction.

What gets praised

  • The predecessor app's private chat and playful features were liked by real couples (1 of 1 article)
  • Detailed companion customisation, realistic and anime styles (Intimeros, cited by Google's AI Overview)
  • Crypto and Telegram payment options (Intimeros)

What gets criticised

  • No press coverage of the AI product at all (0 articles)
  • Five free messages, no app, slow generation, unreliable voice (Intimeros)
  • Privacy graded D: partial account deletion and six-year retention language (Intimeros)

How Google’s AI describes it

The AI Overview Google showed for a US search of "couple.me" on October 7, 2026, quoted as is.

Couple.me is a web-based platform that originally started as a popular private app for real-life couples (formerly known as Couple/Pair) and has evolved into an AI companion service focused on custom romantic roleplay and virtual partners. What It Offers AI Companionship: Build and customize virtual boyfriends or girlfriends, adjusting appearance, personality, hobbies, and voice. Interactive Features: Enjoy image generation, voice notes, and relationship-style roleplay. Legacy History: The older version of the app was designed for actual human couples to share private messaging, calendars, and virtual thumb-kisses, though users looking for human relationship tools now often use alternatives…

Google cited: Intimeros, AIxploria, Autostraddle, Reddit, YouTube

How AI systems regard it: my take

Why this matters: for a brand nobody searches by name, Google's AI summary is the only description most people will ever read. Couple.me draws its visitors from generic 'free ai girlfriend' searches, so the overview is the first time they learn what the site is, and it shapes whether they trust the five free messages enough to pay.

The framing is a merger of two products. Google's AI describes a platform that 'originally started as a popular private app for real-life couples' and 'has evolved into an AI companion service', then lists the companion features (customisable partners, image generation, voice notes, roleplay) and a 'legacy history' of calendars and thumb-kisses. Its sources are a 2013 Autostraddle review, a 2019 Reddit thread about the old app, two directories and a YouTube link: three of the five are about a product that no longer exists.

The claim I disagree with is 'evolved'. The old Couple app was abandoned around 2019 with users' photos inside it; the AI companion is a January 2025 launch by FAB AI LTD of London on the same domain. Nothing evolved; the domain changed hands and kept its backlinks. The overview also lists voice notes without the caveat that the one independent review found the voice preview did not work, and it does not mention that the free tier is five messages.

What people type into Google before they sign up

Google's own suggestions after "couple me" and the related searches Google Trends ranks highest over the last 12 months, retrieved October 7, 2026.

These are the questions people have before they sign up, in their own words. I group them by what they tell me, because the mix says more than any single search: a brand searched mostly with “free” has a different audience from one searched with “review”.

  • “butter naan near me”+4,050%
  • “pav bhaji near me”+4,000%

Google Trends “rising” related queries; “Breakout” means growth over 5,000%.

My take

Nobody searches for the brand, and the name is unsearchable anyway. 'couple me' draws 210 US searches a month, down from 390 a year ago, and Google Trends for the phrase returns 'couple massage', 'hotel near me' and 'couple therapy' as related queries, which is the generic phrase swamping the brand. Google autocompletes nothing for it. There is no brand demand curve to read; whatever this site gets, it gets from category searches.

What people actually type is 'free'. The site ranks first for 'ai girlfriend free' (14,800 searches a month) and 'create ai girlfriend free', second for 'free ai girlfriend' (18,100), 'ai girlfriend generator' (14,800) and 'free ai gf', and fifteenth for 'ai girlfriend' itself (135,000). Every one of those visitors wants something free and meets a five-message cap, which explains how a site can have 52,815 visits a month and no Reddit threads.

No app and no APK searches is the one quiet signal in its favour. Rivals at this traffic level usually attract 'app' and 'apk' queries that end at clones; Couple.me has no mobile app and none of those searches, so the web product is the whole product, for better and worse.

Part 3 · Traffic rank and reach

How much traffic Couple.me gets, and where it ranks

How I track this: search-traffic estimates miss direct visits, apps and social, so for all-traffic reach I use Tranco, a daily ranking of every domain on the internet built from DNS and browser data (Cloudflare Radar, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic, Farsight and Chrome), and I check it against Google’s own Chrome UX Report each month. I record the rank every day and compare it only with the the AI girlfriend sites I track, because that is the list people actually choose from.

On the Tranco list of October 6, 2026, couple.me ranked #985,985 among every domain worldwide, up 8,753 places since August 31, 2026. Among the AI girlfriend sites I track, that makes it #6, behind Nomi.ai and Candy AI.

How I read this

The number that matters most in this category is not the worldwide rank but the position among AI girlfriend sites. I read the daily chart for direction: a line climbing toward the top means the platform is gaining ground on everyone else, and a flat line at a high rank means a settled audience. Tranco is a rank, not a visit count, so I never convert it into visits.

Its positions on the category searches

couple.me's Google positions on the category's searches. DataForSEO, United States, September 2026.

Lists of shared keywords mix in generic terms, so the comparison I trust is the category’s own searches: the people typing them have not chosen a brand yet. In September 2026, couple.me held position #15 for “ai girlfriend” in the US.

SearchUS searches / monthPosition
“ai girlfriend”135,000#15

“ai girlfriend generator”14,800#2
“free ai gf”2,900#2
“ai girlfriend maker”1,000#2
“create ai girlfriend free”880#1

How I read it. 0% of this site’s top-keyword traffic comes from people typing its own name, so the category searches are what bring in people who have never heard of it. Position #15 for "ai girlfriend" is off page one, so for now the site depends on its name rather than on the category term. It also holds a top-three position for "free ai girlfriend", "ai girlfriend free", "ai girlfriend generator", "free ai gf", "ai girlfriend maker", "create ai girlfriend free", "free ai gf chat", "girlfriend ai free", which is where the long-tail newcomers come from.

My take: the story in the numbers

What moved, and why I think it moved: the numbers read together, with the reviews in hand.

The growth is real and it is two months old. Search visits went from 1 a month in late 2024 to 52,815 in September 2026, up 5,647% on the year, but almost all of it happened in two steps: 7,354 in July 2026, 29,647 in August, 52,815 in September. US visits went 1,296 to 11,154 to 17,198 over the same three months. Before that, the product launched in January 2025 (the team's Reddit post is dated 18 January) and spent eighteen months between 300 and 6,000 visits.

What jumped was a handful of generic rankings, not the brand. The site is first for 'ai girlfriend free' (14,800 US searches a month) and 'create ai girlfriend free', second for 'free ai girlfriend' (18,100), 'ai girlfriend generator' (14,800) and 'free ai gf', and fifteenth for 'ai girlfriend' (135,000). Brand searches for 'couple me' are 210 a month and have fallen from 390 in September 2025. Every new visitor arrives through the word 'free', which matters because the free tier is five messages.

The ranking runs on borrowed authority. couple.me was registered in April 2008 and hosted the Couple app for real couples until it was abandoned around 2019; it already had 1,007 referring domains in October 2024, before the AI product existed, and Ahrefs rates the domain 50. Referring domains have grown to 1,296, with a step from 1,151 to 1,290 in May 2026 that lines up with the affiliate programme, while backlinks peaked at 11,948 in December 2025 and have settled at 8,877. A twenty-month-old start-up does not usually outrank the category on 'free ai girlfriend'; a seventeen-year-old domain can.

The all-traffic rank has not moved with the search surge. Tranco placed the site at 994,738 on 31 August 2026 and 985,985 on 6 October, a gain of fewer than 9,000 places, 48th of the sites I track. Either Tranco is lagging a jump this recent or, more likely, the search visitors bounce off the five-message cap and never come back by other routes. India is the second country at 14,155 visits against 19,091 from the United States, and 'free' searchers from India do not often convert at $12.99.

What users say is nothing, and that fits. No Reddit thread, no video and no article reviews the AI product; the one independent grade is a directory's 3.6 out of 5 with a D for privacy, citing the five-message trial, slow replies and a voice preview that failed. A product that converts its search visitors produces complaints and recommendations within months; this one has produced neither in twenty, which tells me the funnel leaks at the free tier.

Verdict. Growing on the scorecard, with 5 of 6 indicators up, and fragile underneath: all of the growth is non-brand, two months old, dependent on a few generic rankings that one algorithm update can remove, and built on a domain's past rather than the product's reputation. The condition I am watching is simple: if 'couple me' brand searches start rising while the rankings hold, the visitors are converting and the growth is real; if the rankings slip and brand searches stay at 210, September 2026 was the peak.

In short

What I learned, and what I expect next

Pulling it together, from my own paid test, from what users say, and from my indicators: Couple.me is growing right now. Here is the whole picture in a few lines, then the scorecard behind it.

How it is performing

Couple.me drew an estimated 52,815 visits from Google search in September 2026, +78.1% on August 2026 and +5647.0% on a year earlier. Over the last quarter the trend is growing (+740.8% against the three months before). Counting all traffic, it is #6 among the AI girlfriend sites I track, behind Nomi.ai and Candy AI.

Reading the trend with the reviews in hand: there are no user reviews to read, and that is the finding. The traffic line is a vertical jump in August and September 2026 from generic 'free ai girlfriend' rankings on a seventeen-year-old domain, and the absence of any Reddit thread, video or article about the product tells me those visitors are not becoming customers who talk. The one independent grade, 3.6 out of 5 with a D for privacy, names the leak: five free messages for a crowd that searched 'free'. The number to watch is brand searches, flat at 210, which will rise first if the product starts keeping anyone.

What changed

Brand demand is the standout: about 210 US searches a month (-46.2% year on year) and 1,300 worldwide. Traffic is up faster than brand demand, which usually means the site is winning generic searches rather than relying on its name. In popularity terms it has climbed 8,753 places since August 31, 2026. Links are still being earned (+30.5% in 12 months).

What I expect

With demand, traffic and links moving the same way, I expect Couple.me to keep gaining ground over the next few months. The thing that would change my mind is a month-on-month drop that repeats, which is why I refresh these figures monthly. 7 of its 8 closest search rivals currently get more US search traffic than it does, which is the gap to watch.

What I will check next month

  • Whether September 2026’s traffic figure held, rose or fell once the next month is in.
  • Whether US brand searches move out of the 210 band they have sat in.
  • Whether the Tranco rank keeps the direction it showed over the last 30 days.
  • Whether couple.me holds position #15 for “ai girlfriend”, the category’s own search.

Part 7 · Method

How I measured all this

I bought a Couple.me membership and tested it myself, and I come at the write-up as a data researcher. Everything on this page is measured, because the whole point of this site is to rank AI girlfriend platforms by real usage and interest rather than by anyone’s taste, and every brand page uses the same indicators in the same order so they can be compared. I pulled every figure on October 7, 2026.

Traffic, keywords, backlinks, competitors, WHOIS
From DataForSEO, refreshed monthly. “Organic traffic” is an estimate of visits from Google results, modelled from the keywords a site ranks for. It leaves out direct visits, app traffic, paid ads and social referrals, so the real audience is bigger; that is why I also show an all-traffic popularity rank.
Brand search volume
Google Ads keyword data via DataForSEO. Google rounds these into bands, which is why months often repeat the same figure.
Domain Rating
Domain Rating by Ahrefs, a 100-point measure of backlink strength, published under Ahrefs’ Domain Rating license. The DataForSEO domain rank is a separate 100-point backlink score.
Popularity rank
The Tranco list, an academic ranking of the top million domains built from DNS and browser data; a rank, not a visit count. The Chrome UX Report tier is Google's own popularity bucket from real Chrome users.
Trends, videos, forums, press, search suggestions
Google Trends is relative interest on a 0 to 100 scale, not a count. News, YouTube, Reddit and autocomplete data come through SerpApi from public Google and YouTube results; video views are summed across the videos I found. For the most-watched videos I also pull the caption transcript through SerpApi, read it in full, and write a short account of what the video says plus my own conclusion; videos without captions are listed by title only. For Reddit I read each thread Google surfaces directly from reddit.com in a browser, record its upvotes, comment count and top comments as they stood that day, screenshot the post as it is publicly visible, and classify it after reading; threads with no analysis yet are listed by title. Press articles are read in full and classified the same way; pages that block automated readers are marked as unread. The category search check is a live Google result for the category's own term (United States, desktop) via DataForSEO. Discord counts come from the server's public invite page.
Hands-on testing
I purchased a Couple.me membership and used the product myself: chat, memory, images and the paid extras. My own test tells me what each feature does; the verdict on each feature comes from what users publish, because for a brand this size their view is more grounded than one reviewer's.
Rounding and independence
Figures are rounded for display; charts show the exact values. Top AI Girlfriends is not affiliated with DataForSEO, Ahrefs, SerpApi, Google, or Couple.me.

Part 8 · Final verdict

One last word on Couple.me

Couple.me is a competent, cheap, almost unknown girlfriend builder riding a borrowed domain to the top of Google's 'free ai girlfriend' results. The product itself is fine: a four-step builder that is quicker and more specific than most, decent pictures for tokens, an annual plan that works out at about $4.13 a month, and a named London company behind it. What it is not is a product anyone has reviewed. In twenty months nobody has posted a thread, a video or an article about it, and the one directory grade is a middling 3.6 out of 5, so for once my own test carries more weight than I would like.

The trade-off is price against the free tier and the extras. The annual plan is among the cheapest in the category, but you decide to buy it after five free messages, the refund window is 24 hours with a token condition, voice is unreliable and costs tokens, 'video chat' is a page rather than a feature, and the privacy policy keeps data for years after you leave. Users who search 'free' and meet that wall leave, which is why 52,815 visits a month have produced no community at all.

Who should pick it: someone who already knows they want a companion, likes a detailed builder, wants to pay as little as possible per year and does not mind paying by crypto or Telegram. Who should not: anyone who needs a real free tier to decide, anyone who wants voice calls or an app, and anyone for whom a reputation, good or bad, is a precondition for handing over a card.

Where it stands today: #6 of the AI girlfriend sites I track, growing fast on search with 52,815 visits a month, up 78% in a month and 5,647% in a year, on brand searches of 210. It stays mid-table because the reach is two months old and entirely generic; if the rankings hold through the next Google update and brand searches start to climb, it moves up, and if the free tier grows past five messages I would expect the reviews to finally appear.

See where Couple.me stands among every AI girlfriend site

Every platform I track, tested the same way and ranked by the same indicators.
