My take
Both give you a free tier, so you can try the chat on each before paying; expect message caps and few or no images until you upgrade. SpicyChat is the cheaper way in at $4.95/mo against $17.99/mo for Kupid.ai. The entry price is only part of it: image, voice and video are often metered on top, so the pricing notes row matters as much as the headline. Kupid.ai simply does more: image generation, voice messages and live voice calls are on its list and not on SpicyChat's. More features is only better if you will use them.

My take
Start with the row this site ranks on. When someone types "ai girlfriend" into Google in the US, Kupid.ai is there at #7; SpicyChat does not appear in the tracked positions at all. That is why Kupid.ai sits higher here even if it is the smaller site: it is the one the category sends newcomers to. On size, SpicyChat is the busier site: 2,411,388 search visits a month worldwide, more than 20 times what Kupid.ai gets (131,142). These are estimates of visits from Google only, so a site with apps or ads can be bigger than this shows. Brand searches are the loyalty line: 1,000,000 people a month type SpicyChat's name, against 5,400 for Kupid.ai. A name people type on purpose is a site they come back to; a site with lots of visits and few brand searches is living on rankings it could lose. In plain terms: SpicyChat is bigger, Kupid.ai is the one the category search points to.

“Users” is the balance of the YouTube reviews, Reddit threads and articles read for each brand page; “my test” is whether my own month on the site agreed with them.
My take
Users are happier with SpicyChat: 5 of its 10 features come out positive, against Kupid.ai's 3 of 10, with 2 features where the complaints win. My own month did not always match the crowd: I disagreed with users on 2 points for Kupid.ai and 2 points for SpicyChat, and each disagreement is spelled out on the brand page.
