My take
If you want to try before you pay, Kupid.ai lets you: CrushOn AI asks for a card first. A free tier is a sampler, not a plan, but it tells you whether the chat suits you before money moves. CrushOn AI is the cheaper way in at $5.99/mo against $17.99/mo for Kupid.ai. The entry price is only part of it: image, voice and video are often metered on top, so the pricing notes row matters as much as the headline. Kupid.ai simply does more: nsfw content, image generation and voice messages are on its list and not on CrushOn AI's. More features is only better if you will use them.

My take
Start with the row this site ranks on. When someone types "ai girlfriend" into Google in the US, Kupid.ai is there at #7; CrushOn AI does not appear in the tracked positions at all. That is why Kupid.ai sits higher here even if it is the smaller site: it is the one the category sends newcomers to. On size, CrushOn AI is the busier site: 1,645,538 search visits a month worldwide, more than 15 times what Kupid.ai gets (131,142). These are estimates of visits from Google only, so a site with apps or ads can be bigger than this shows. Brand searches are the loyalty line: 450,000 people a month type CrushOn AI's name, against 5,400 for Kupid.ai. A name people type on purpose is a site they come back to; a site with lots of visits and few brand searches is living on rankings it could lose. In plain terms: CrushOn AI is bigger, Kupid.ai is the one the category search points to.

“Users” is the balance of the YouTube reviews, Reddit threads and articles read for each brand page; “my test” is whether my own month on the site agreed with them.
My take
Users rate them about the same: 2 of 10 features positive for CrushOn AI and 3 of 10 features positive for Kupid.ai. Kupid.ai gets it on chat and roleplay. My own month did not always match the crowd: I disagreed with users on 3 points for CrushOn AI and 2 points for Kupid.ai, and each disagreement is spelled out on the brand page.
