The scoreboard
FantasyGF leads on 2 of the 4 figures that decide most choices.
In short

| Features |

|
| Best for | Users seeking emotionally engaging, text-based NSFW chats with realistic companions and strong character customization | Users wanting a feature-rich free-entry NSFW girlfriend experience with voice and image generation |
| Not for | Those wanting NSFW images, voice features, or video calls; users preferring mobile apps or free trial access | Users requiring a mobile app or needing cross-session memory on the free tier |
| Operator | Not disclosed on the site or in any source I read: the terms page returns a 404, the privacy policy is a generic template with no company name, and no video, post or directory names one | Advanced AI Labs S.R.L. (company number 49734069, named in the site footer; the pricing grid is a near copy of DreamGF's, which is why the two get called sister sites, but the footer names a different Romanian company from DreamGF's DreamAI SRL) |
| Pricing notes | A free plan now exists alongside the paid tiers. Paid monthly: $12.99, $49.99. Yearly: $46.88, $238.88. No crypto. Affiliate program available. | Free tier available, though it's more of a limited trial than a fully open plan. Paid plans run $12.99/month, roughly $9.99/month billed quarterly, or roughly $5.99/month billed annually (about $69.99/year), against a listed regular price of $25.99/month. Crypto accepted (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC, SOL, MATIC). Note: fantasygf.ai now redirects to fantasygf.com. |
My take
Both give you a free tier, so you can try the chat on each before paying; expect message caps and few or no images until you upgrade.

The better value in each row is marked in green. Search visits and brand searches are DataForSEO estimates; Tranco and Chrome UX tiers are ranks, not visit counts.
My take
Start with the row this site ranks on. When someone types "ai girlfriend" into Google in the US, FantasyGF is there at #80; HeyReal does not appear in the tracked positions at all. That is why FantasyGF sits higher here even if it is the smaller site: it is the one the category sends newcomers to. On size, HeyReal is the busier site: 11,977 search visits a month worldwide, more than 15 times what FantasyGF gets (877). These are estimates of visits from Google only, so a site with apps or ads can be bigger than this shows. Brand searches are the loyalty line: 1,300 people a month type FantasyGF's name, against 70 for HeyReal. A name people type on purpose is a site they come back to; a site with lots of visits and few brand searches is living on rankings it could lose. Tranco tells a slightly different story: it counts every visit, not only search, and there FantasyGF comes out ahead (#726,988 against #3,541,418). When search and all-traffic disagree, the site that wins on Tranco has an audience that does not come through Google. FantasyGF's Domain Rating of 51 against 31 means far more sites link to it, which is what keeps rankings stable; the weaker link profile is the one more likely to move, up or down, when Google reshuffles. In plain terms: HeyReal is bigger, FantasyGF is the one the category search points to.

“Users” is the balance of the YouTube reviews, Reddit threads and articles read for each brand page; “my test” is whether my own month on the site agreed with them.
My take
Users rate them about the same: 1 of 10 features positive for HeyReal and 1 of 10 features positive for FantasyGF. My own month did not always match the crowd: I disagreed with users on 3 points for HeyReal and 5 points for FantasyGF, and each disagreement is spelled out on the brand page.
My verdict on each
