Moescape AI leads on 2 of the 4 figures that decide most choices.
In short
| What they offer | ||

| Features |
|
|
| Best for | Anime fans wanting extensive character variety and NSFW roleplay capability at a budget price | Anime-style NSFW companion enthusiasts who want image generation with text interaction and prefer app-based experiences |
| Not for | Users wanting realistic character aesthetics, voice interaction, or a mobile app | Realism-seeking users, those wanting voice messaging, or users requiring free trial options |
| Operator | WarpSpace (Warp Space Global Inc.), CEO Kim Young-bin | Moe AI Limited (the App Store seller is listed as Moescape Technology Corp) |
| Pricing notes | Free tier available. Paid from $5.99/month for full access. | Monthly tiers now span Plus $9.99, Pro $14.99, Premium $29.99, and a new Platinum tier at $39.99. New users get daily free Mochi credits (the platform's currency for chat and generation), so there's a genuine if limited free-to-use path before subscribing. No crypto payments. No affiliate program. |
My take
If you want to try before you pay, Moescape AI lets you: Caveduck asks for a card first. A free tier is a sampler, not a plan, but it tells you whether the chat suits you before money moves. Caveduck is the cheaper way in at $5.99/mo against $9.99/mo for Moescape AI. The entry price is only part of it: image, voice and video are often metered on top, so the pricing notes row matters as much as the headline. Moescape AI simply does more: anime character customization, nsfw chat functionality and nsfw image generation are on its list and not on Caveduck's. More features is only better if you will use them.

The better value in each row is marked in green. Search visits and brand searches are DataForSEO estimates; Tranco and Chrome UX tiers are ranks, not visit counts.
My take
None of these ranks in the tracked positions for "ai girlfriend", so their places on this site come from all-traffic rank, and their visitors arrive by name, by ads or from app stores rather than from the category search. On size, Caveduck is the busier site: 100,008 search visits a month worldwide, about twice what Moescape AI gets (50,908). These are estimates of visits from Google only, so a site with apps or ads can be bigger than this shows. Brand searches are the loyalty line: 22,200 people a month type Moescape AI's name, against 18,100 for Caveduck. A name people type on purpose is a site they come back to; a site with lots of visits and few brand searches is living on rankings it could lose. Tranco tells a slightly different story: it counts every visit, not only search, and there Moescape AI comes out ahead (#51,675 against #56,089). When search and all-traffic disagree, the site that wins on Tranco has an audience that does not come through Google. Caveduck is the older domain (2023 against 2024), which counts for something in a category where sites close without notice.

“Users” is the balance of the YouTube reviews, Reddit threads and articles read for each brand page; “my test” is whether my own month on the site agreed with them.
My take
Users are happier with Moescape AI: 6 of its 10 features come out positive, against Caveduck's 4 of 10, with 1 feature where the complaints win. Moescape AI gets it on image generation. My own month did not always match the crowd: I disagreed with users on 2 points for Caveduck and 2 points for Moescape AI, and each disagreement is spelled out on the brand page.
My verdict on each
