My take

If you want to try before you pay, DreamGF lets you: HiWaifu asks for a card first. A free tier is a sampler, not a plan, but it tells you whether the chat suits you before money moves. DreamGF is the cheaper way in at $9.99/mo against $12.99/mo for HiWaifu. The entry price is only part of it: image, voice and video are often metered on top, so the pricing notes row matters as much as the headline. DreamGF simply does more: custom character creation, nsfw chat and image generation and voice messages are on its list and not on HiWaifu's. More features is only better if you will use them.

My take

Start with the row this site ranks on. When someone types "ai girlfriend" into Google in the US, DreamGF is there at #53; HiWaifu does not appear in the tracked positions at all. That is why DreamGF sits higher here even if it is the smaller site: it is the one the category sends newcomers to. On size, HiWaifu is the busier site: 123,501 search visits a month worldwide, more than 25 times what DreamGF gets (4,657). These are estimates of visits from Google only, so a site with apps or ads can be bigger than this shows. Brand searches are the loyalty line: 27,100 people a month type HiWaifu's name, against 2,900 for DreamGF. A name people type on purpose is a site they come back to; a site with lots of visits and few brand searches is living on rankings it could lose. DreamGF's Domain Rating of 60 against 37 means far more sites link to it, which is what keeps rankings stable; the weaker link profile is the one more likely to move, up or down, when Google reshuffles. In plain terms: HiWaifu is bigger, DreamGF is the one the category search points to.

My take

Users rate them about the same: 1 of 10 features positive for HiWaifu and 2 of 10 features positive for DreamGF. My own month did not always match the crowd: I disagreed with users on 3 points for HiWaifu and 1 point for DreamGF, and each disagreement is spelled out on the brand page.
