Replika vs Juicy Chat

My take

If you want to try before you pay, Replika lets you: Juicy Chat asks for a card first. A free tier is a sampler, not a plan, but it tells you whether the chat suits you before money moves. Juicy Chat is the cheaper way in at $12.99/mo against $19.99/mo for Replika. The entry price is only part of it: image, voice and video are often metered on top, so the pricing notes row matters as much as the headline. On adult content they are not the same product: Juicy Chat allows it on paid plans, Replika keeps a filter. Decide that first and half the comparison decides itself.

My take

None of these ranks in the tracked positions for "ai girlfriend", so their places on this site come from all-traffic rank, and their visitors arrive by name, by ads or from app stores rather than from the category search. On size, Replika is the busier site: 47,230 search visits a month worldwide, about half as much again what Juicy Chat gets (34,745). These are estimates of visits from Google only, so a site with apps or ads can be bigger than this shows. Brand searches are the loyalty line: 110,000 people a month type Juicy Chat's name, against 14,800 for Replika. A name people type on purpose is a site they come back to; a site with lots of visits and few brand searches is living on rankings it could lose. Tranco tells a slightly different story: it counts every visit, not only search, and there Juicy Chat comes out ahead (#41,057 against #89,382). When search and all-traffic disagree, the site that wins on Tranco has an audience that does not come through Google. Replika's Domain Rating of 76 against 48 means far more sites link to it, which is what keeps rankings stable; the weaker link profile is the one more likely to move, up or down, when Google reshuffles. Replika is the older domain (2004 against 2024), which counts for something in a category where sites close without notice.

My take

Users rate them about the same: 2 of 10 features positive for Replika and 1 of 10 features positive for Juicy Chat. Both get the same complaint on memory, so that is a category problem rather than a reason to pick one over the other. My own month did not always match the crowd: I disagreed with users on 3 points for Replika and 4 points for Juicy Chat, and each disagreement is spelled out on the brand page.
