CraveU Review 2026: Is It Any Good? We tested it hands-on.

I spent several sessions in conversation with a CraveU companion built around the platform's desire-focused framing, and the persona held its intensity consistently, it didn't soften into generic small talk or drift toward a slower relationship arc the way companion-focused platforms often do. Explicit content came through without filtering or unexpected refusals, and within a single session the AI tracked what I'd just said well enough to keep the conversation coherent.

What didn't hold up was anything beyond that immediate exchange. Coming back for a second and third session, references to earlier conversations mostly didn't carry over, each return visit felt close to a fresh start rather than a continuation. CraveU isn't trying to build a deepening relationship, it's optimized for a specific, intense, in-the-moment dynamic, and it delivers that dynamic reliably while investing almost nothing in the connective tissue between sessions.

I looked through every menu and account setting for any kind of image or visual generation feature and found nothing, there's no generate tab, no button to create a character portrait, no visual customization of any kind anywhere in the product. CraveU was a text-only chat platform in practice at the time I tested it, exactly matching what its own feature list documented then.

I need to flag an update since that original testing: CraveU's own current marketing and several independent third-party reviews now describe a feature called "SceneSnap" that generates contextual NSFW images directly inside the chat as it happens, built on Lora/Flux/Stable Diffusion/ControlNet, and described as a core differentiator of the current product. I have not personally re-tested this feature or verified its output quality firsthand, so I'm keeping this category's score as originally tested rather than crediting an unverified capability, but readers should know image generation is no longer a flat absence here the way it was when I reviewed it. Video generation, by contrast, is still confirmed absent across multiple current independent reviews, with no roadmap for it either.

Same result as image generation: I went through the entire interface looking for a voice message option, a call button, anything audio-related, and found nothing. There's no way to send or receive a voice message and no live calling feature of any kind. CraveU is exclusively text-based.

There's also no dedicated mobile app, so the absence of voice isn't offset by any kind of on-the-go convenience either. For a platform whose entire identity is built around an intense, immediate desire dynamic, voice would arguably suit that framing better than most feature additions, but nothing like it exists today.

I looked for a way to contact CraveU directly: account settings, the site footer, and the app itself for a support email, a help center, or a community channel. I found nothing on any front. There's no published contact address, no live chat widget, no Discord, and no social presence I could locate anywhere connected to the platform.

That's a real gap for a paid subscription. If a charge goes wrong or an account issue comes up, I couldn't find a documented path to resolve it during my testing, and that's worth knowing regardless of how consistent the core chat experience is.

At the time of my original testing, CraveU charged a single flat $6.99/month with no free trial, free tier, yearly discount, or cryptocurrency option anywhere at checkout, and for a narrow, single-feature explicit chat experience that was a fair, genuinely budget price.

This is a real change from the flat no-free-tier model I tested, so treat the current entry point as free rather than $6.99 upfront, with $6.99 no longer matching any specific published tier.
